Tuga Adult Unisex Runners Sports Cap - UPF 50+ Sun Protection (New Sizing)

First, I have to let you know I'm not normally a hat wearer but I bought it because of its sun protection. This cap is cute and just the right colors for me. Because I live in Texas I need to wear something to protect my head and I've never done much to do so however as I'm getting older, I'm realizing I should be wearing something on top of all the sunblock. I love that clothing makers are making sunblock clothing because remembering and having the time and right place to apply sunblock is difficult. The cap is a bit small for me but not so much that I can't pull it off, however, I am not used to wearing hats because they have always made me look way too young but now I'm about to be 38 so I can deal with looking younger than I am. Maybe this summer I will not burn my head despite applying sunblock. Especially because it makes me look about 10+ years younger. My friend told me it makes me look like a teen but I'm going with 10+ years... Can't beat looking young, not looking like a lobster, and avoiding cancer all in one age defining cap.

I was looking for a cap to use for my daily four mile walks. I wanted something with sun protection and the ability to be washed in a machine. I purchased the white one, I normally wear white, but wasn't happy with the look. The white is smaller ear to ear than the navy or the purple. Also, there seems to be a yellow band that you can see under the white.I like purple so I ordered the purple one and am very happy with it. I was reluctant to purchase a cap with velcro because hair could get caught in it. However, the velcro seems secure and no hair loss so far. The size is good to, many of the sun caps have very large brims and are too large overall. I purchased the navy blue for my husband and that has worked out well. Hopefully they will bring out other colors.

Nice hat for the price - definitely a "runner's cap" fit. It does not come as close to your ears as a normal ball cap would, so it does not offer as much sun protection. The hat is lightweight and dries quickly. The only change I would recommend is a dark non-reflective color on the underside of the bill. There is a lot of light reflection from the sand or road on bright days even with high end polarized sunglasses!

I bought this hat to keep the sun out of my eyes while hiking. It functions well for that purpose. However, the hat is a bit small for my average sized head despite being adjustable in the back. It never feels very secure on my head and has a tendency to blow off in the wind.Aside from the sizing issue, it's a good product and holds up well in the wash.

I love the look and feel of this hat, but I had to send the first one I got back because the stitching under the sweat band was already coming apart. The replacement hat was a little better but still had the same issue. I expected better quality stitching that would last for a $15 hat. Otherwise, it's nice and super cute.

didn't impress me enough to make me wear it - but maybe it's because I'm not much of a baseball hat wearer.And maybe I expected some magic :) didn't happen.It does fulfill all the major requirements one may have to a hat though :) worth a try.

The hat could be a little taller, so that it covers more of my head. It's OK, but I wish it came down over my head more. Especially since I bought this hat as a sun screen. I'll keep it as it's better than nothing.
