Excellent first food! This porridge is rich in multiple nutrients essential for your little ones like iron, folate, vitamin B1 & fiber and is a source of protein.
The presence of high amount of protein in moong facilitates quicker development of muscle and organs in little ones. Folate in it is required for production of red blood cells & DNA. It is also a great source of iron.
Brown rice & moong both are beneficial for the smooth functioning of the brain and nervous system, owing to the presence of very good amount of b-vitamins and essential minerals in them.; Carom/ajwain provides relief from colic and gas in little ones & cumin is good for digestion
