Comfy, Durable, Lightweight
I am 6' 2" in shoes, 180 lbs, 33" waist, athletic build and wear 34" inseam jeans. These are definitely a little long at the bottom, but I like 'em that way. I had ordered (and still have) a pair of the medium non-tall pants and they are really only suitable for wearing with boots, where it's not quite so obvious that they are 1-1/2" to 2" too short. I'll take the extra length on these over the high-waders any day. These fit very well and are exceptionally comfortable. The elastic and drawstring combination ensures the ability to adjust the wait comfort to anything you desire. They nicely block the cold winter wind and yet are not stifling hot in the warmer temps. I love having all of the pockets. I wish they had a left rear pocket in addition to, or instead of, the singular right rear one. Being right handed, it's more natural to take my wallet out of a left rear pocket with my left hand, which is where I'd naturally hold it while retrieving something from it. So, I'd definitely say, ergonomically speaking, that these are "left-handed" pants. For now, I just shove my wallet down into one of the cargo pockets instead. Speaking of which, I have noticed that when my cell phone is in one of those cargo pockets, the phone easily slides right out when in any sitting position that has your thighs slanting upwards from your hips (i.e. knees higher than your hips). I have on many occasions reached for my phone only to find that it had fallen out in the car, or the movie theater, or the restaurant booth. So, be careful about what you put in those pockets. A small strip/square/patch of velcro, or even just a snap, to close the top of those pockets would solve the problem. I will probably buy several more pair, particularly for use as travel pants. They'd be very comfortable on the plane, are very lightweight to pack, can be orders in bright colors to help my wife find me in a crowd and are just barely dressy enough to wear into many restaurants and churches in Europe that don't allow shorts.

My favorite scrub pants for men
I have been wearing these specific pants to work (in healthcare) for at least the past 10 years. They are very rugged but comfortable. My waist is size 34 and I like the size large regular pant. The pant waist is big but you can cinch them tight with the drawstrings. I only buy the black color because I like to match it with another brand top and black usually gives the closest match. The pants have tons of pockets which is awesome. I’ve tried so many scrub pants and these are by far my favorite. Recommended.

Great price and quality for TALL size pants
I purchased these for my husband who works as a chef and need multiple pockets and something very durable. I did not know Carthartt made these types of pants and coincidentally found these in my search for pants. He’s a tall man and finding these in tall sizes as well was a PLUS because those types of pants are already hard to find. I purchased 4 of them because the price for them was not bad. He’s been using them for approximately 3 weeks now and he loves them. Another plus that we discovered was how soft they get after they are washed the first time. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Almost perfect
Carhart is known for longevity and durability in its line. I ordered these pants twice. After the second order, several months apart, I come to realize I will not order these again. The fit is strange! The length is great, the waist is too big. Using the drawstring to hold up the pants doesn’t work well. Especially if you put anything of moderate weight in your pockets. The pants will slide off your waist and you will spend a considerable amount of time pulling them back up in place. If you use a belt with the belt loops, in addition to the pull strings, the front button will come undone leaving you with a pouch of unbuttoned pants, untucked shirt, and a belt buckle pushed against your skin. Squatting down in these pants for anyone that has decent muscle tone in your thighs is not that great. Forget about putting a cell phone in your front pocket and trying to squat down. The pockets are so short and tight, the phone in your pocket will prevent you from squatting. The color after several washes did not fade, the style with cargo pockets is a must for me working in the medical field, and the thickness of the material is definitely great quality. All in all, I after several wears, i consistently feel like I am being packed up for shipping due to the tighter fit of this brand
