Quick delivery after purchase, installation easy and operation was as expected in a Hydroplane. No problems at all.

Looks like a high-quality product however went to use and major crackling in the helmet earbuds. Took radios and new harnesses into a local aviation radio shop for testing. They confirmed it was the brand new harness! Not impressed.

Been ordering Rugged Radios products for a while now, as this is the same item Frank's Radio Service at the racetrack sells for a SIGNIFICANT mark up! Guess he needs to hide the boxes better in his van!

Quick solution turns to ass pain
Purchased this setup with the rugged radios headset, coiled 5 to 2 prong converter and some Baofeng UV-5R radios with the intention of having a fast and easy car comms set up but the PTT for the harness doesn’t work, headset doesn’t transmit. Anyone know why?
