On Your Toes Foot Bactericide Powder - Eliminates Foot Odor for Six Months, 3/4 oz - Two Pack

Three athletic, active boys (2 teens), a sweaty husband and a dancer for a daughter - this stuff is a staple in our house! Use it as directed, order extra if you have multiple foot odor offenders (we used about 4 boxes b/c I treated every pair of shoes I could rummage up) and you will NOT be disappointed. I recommend you use thin gloves to apply to feet and shoes, in a well-ventilated area. I might even suggest you use this outside on a non-windy day, or use a mask over your mouth and nose if you want to be super safe - it is not toxic but not meant to be ingested and potentially irritating if it gets in one's eyes or nose. If you're treating multiple feet and shoes the powder is very fine and will be airborne before you know it.We washed all the washable shoes first, let them dry, and made everyone thoroughly wash and exfoliate their feet before treatment, trim and clean toenails. You must treat ALL the shoes that are worn, as the bacteria will move from dirty, untreated shoes (like play shoes) to treated shoes and you've wasted your time, energy and money! (Ask me how I know this?) Treat religiously for 3 days straight as noted. I actually washed my 8-year-old's feet all three days b/c he tends to neglect all the crevices.Voila! Clean, smelly-free feet for around 6 months! If your child swims a lot, gets his/her shoes wet or does sports/perspires a lot, sometimes the chlorine and/or excess sweat requires re-treatment at 4 months, but the return of bacteria a usually a gradual thing and you can smell the calm before the storm! Highly recommend! :)

I had a real problem with a favourite type of leather slippers. They started to stink within a month after purchase and I had to replace them every 9 months because the smell of them and m feet was embarrassing. My other shoes weren't so bad but there was definitely some odour transfer if I wore them right after taking off my slippers and before washing my feet. I bought this item based on reviews and I also bought the Ultraviolet Shoe Sanitizer by Kendal. I used the UV product on all my shoes first (several 15 min treatments per shoe). This seemed to make a positive difference. I then followed up with the powder as directed (one application in each shoe and one application on the feet each day for 3 days). As indicated, It was exactly enough powder for the feet and 6 pairs of shoes. It is kind of a messy process for sure for a few days - white powder transfers to everything. However it is worth it. Long story short it has been several weeks now and my problem is resolved. My feet do not smell, all my shoes smell fresh, and my slippers smell like new leather when I take them off. I'm amazed. I will purchase again for the next six months.

This powder has completely eliminated a foot odor problem I suffered for years. Always assuming it was fungal I tried multiple different powders and creams to no avail. After 6-8 hours of shoe wearing I always had a "funk" built up in my shoes. It was bad enough that I would carry extra socks and shoes in the car to change into midday or before a date, etc.After following the directions to treat three pairs of shoes and then my feet directly this product completely eliminated the funk. Even after enough sweating to leave me damp in my boots the odor is completely gone and stays gone for several months. The active ingredient in it is a microfine zinc powder and as far as I've researched I can't find any risks associated with it's use. Zinc doesn't absorb much through the skin so as long as you wash your hands and don't ingest it you'll be fine. Absolutely worth the money this tiny bottle goes a long way and I have since purchased a 3pk to have on hand. Now I pre-treat my shoes when purchased to prevent the funk from ever building up.

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because you can buy the ingredients and make your own for far less. This is very effective but also VERY expensive!! Does not work for 6 months. Maybe 3...maybe.

Got a funny foot smell and other remedies don't work? Try this stuff. And if it works try to buy new shoes/boots so it doesn't recur. Otherwise the smell will come back in about 4-6 months. Using this 3 days in a row or so works wonders. I try to time buying new boots when I have to use this. Has worked great so far when I have.

Product did not work as described. Did not eliminate odors on feet or in shoes. Very disappointed in this product. All the product does is totally dry you feet out and is very messy. Even though you skin is like sand paper they continue to sweat and stink. I would have rated a zero but lowest score allowed is one. Works no better then baking soda which a lot cheaper.

This foot powder is the best for sweaty or stinky feet that I've ever tried! Great for any shoes including work boots! One treatment lasts me a year and my Son (27 yrs) 6 months. Make sure you follow the directions or you will reinfect your feet with bacteria and you will have done it for nothing. My feet feel super dry for a few days after using this but it's worth it!!! It's a must have for sweaty feet!

This stuff works! It can be messy but it works. Used it on a pair of shoes (ballet flats) that I had stopped wearing b/c they made my feet smell so bad & the results were immediate. The consistency isn't as fine as baby powder so it gets a little messy b/c you need to break up some of the pieces when you spread it around your shoes & feet. A little goes a long way!
