Gatco 832 2-5/8-Inch Diameter Wall Flange Pair, Exposed Screw Mounting, Satin Nickel

We were having the hardest time replacing our shower curtain rod. We needed a 6 foot length. The only ones we could find were tension rods or the curved rods-none of which we wanted. Finally decided to browse Amazon and came upon Gatco. We purchased the Gatco 813 6 foot rod as well as the Gatco 836 Tiara wall flange pair. So very pleased with the purchase. Easy to install and looks great.

Very nicely made, great fit and finish (chrome). has an internal o ring that keeps the rod from spinning and sliding, eliminating annoying squeaks. Single piece bar is available from other companies on Amazon that I prefer to the Gatco two piece bar but fits perfectly.

Crap is the best word to describe this product. Does not install easily and add in some bad engineering, and good luck in keeping the horrible piece of misery on your wall. I am sure if hell has houses this item will be in every one of them.

Good looking product and solid construction. I was a bit disappointed that it only came with 2 mounting screws instead of 6. I had to purchase 4 other ones for mounting it to the wall that do not match but I don't think anyone other than me would notice.

nice hardware and finish,also arrived on-time.....came with 2 different size mounting screw(why i have no idea)also, beware that the mounting hardware screws are NOT stainless steel,they are zinc and will more than likely start rusting in short order.

I put one of these Gatco 5' shower rods in my last house and was very pleased with it, and was shopping for another one for a new house. I was disappointed to find that they no longer make a one piece 5' shower rod like they did 15 years ago (it now comes in two pieces). Luckily they sell the mounting brackets separately, so I took a chance and bought a set of these along with a Naiture 60" Never Rust Stainless Steel Straight rod (which is one piece). The two items work together great, and the Naiture rod is actually cheaper than the Gatco rod. You'll have a spare set of mounting brackets from the Naiture rod to toss in the metal recycle bin, but it's worth it.

Works very well holding shower rod, especially if screwed directly into studs. I was able to, so can’t comment on install with anchors. Well-made. Looks good, big step up over tension rod. All items for installation (except rod, of course) included. Very happy.
