Backpacker The National Parks Coast to Coast: 100 Best Hikes

My husband and I are retiring this year and are looking forward to traveling around exploring our beautiful country and we are avid hikers, so I bought him this for Christmas as he loves to research every hike thoroughly before hand. He cant say enough good things about this book. He loves that he can put the location coordinates in his GPS, he likes that its detailed telling what to expect in a location you are not familiar with. We highly recommend this book.

I got this as a Christmas present for my dad who hiked a lot and he loves it and said it has a lot of helpful information and some of his bucket list hikes.

For more of the advanced hikers with little trail information for day hikes. That being said, for the advanced hiker it is well done.

Loved this book! The book came extremely fast and was in perfect condition. Great pictures and trail information! The GPS coordinates that are listed for every hike are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Great book with great hikes, full-color photos, and in-depth directions and maps. Lots of hiking books are bare-bones and utilitarian, but the text and beautiful pictures of this one make it entertaining as a coffee table book as well.

I Iike the book overall. Great idea's. However I'm not a national park nerd. I don't know all the state park locations they are talking about. I see a park I have to google where it is. I t would be nice if they listed the state

This is a very well done book. The author did not just toss together a bunch of info for a quick buck. All hikes have comprehensive GPS coordinates for trailhead and waypoints on route. Well worth the money!
