I have ordered from this company for at least two years and have always raved about this product. Check the dates of these reviews....most were written a couple of years ago at least. In the last several purchases for the XL pads, I have been extremely disappointed. Over an inch and a half of the pad is bordered in a blue plastic material and that is NOT waterproof. My dog likes to urinate on the edge and I am constantly mopping the patio afterwards. The quality has gone downhill drastically in the past year. Not near as waterproof as they used to be. I know! I have bought tons of these! I will look for another brand now because they are using a different manufacturer or cheaper materials. I have even replaced my grass mats I use with these, thinking the artificial grass mat was defective. Nope. Definitely these pads.

Don't bother with any other pads. These aren't flimsy or filled with weird fluff or prone to tearing like all the others. These are the best.I have an old cat in renal failure. And lately, he's been having trouble making it to a litter box. The answer? These pads! Renal failure means that the cat pees - a lot! Not just often, but more volume than a normal cat. I take these pads, fold them in half and stick them in shallow-sided litter boxes (well, these -http://smile.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Commercial-FG330600CLR-Food-5-gallon/dp/B000VAOCDU/ref=pd_sim_sbs_328_4?ie=UTF8&dpID=310q8jGrjGL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=03F7VC8JKA18NNWK81R5 , but they work great for him because they're very sturdy and heavy).So now the cat has "litter boxes" with pads around the place that he can get to quickly and use without worry or embarrassment (no wet feet for him and I don't have to clean up puddles).With the XL pads folded in half, even if he pees on the edge and it runs under the pad, it still gets absorbed and there's no puddle under the pad to deal with later.My mom was visiting and noticed that the cat had just used one of his pads - she asked if she could change it for him and I told her where the new ones were. She (a nurse) unfolded one and said, "Wow! These are better than you get for people at the hospital!" Hey, only the best for my old cat.Expensive? Yeah, a bit. But you're getting quality for your money. AND this company stands by their product - when I had an issue (a few pads not manufactured properly in the pack), I let them know and they IMMEDIATELY jumped to make things right. No hesitation, no quibbles. Just excellent customer care.I don't know how long my cat plans to stay in this world, but as long as he does, I'll be buying these pads. And they'll be my go-to pads from now on whatever needs may come in the future. (I've already used them for some caged foster kittens who were having poop issues and tracking it everywhere - these fit perfectly in the bottom of a Critter Nation cage and they made clean up SO MUCH EASIER for my messy little kittens on their litter box level!)

I have 4 Chihuahuas. The youngest two like to play with their potty pads. The oldest one would seem to pee towards the edge and miss the pad sometimes. I had my husband make me an oak frame to go around these, which I stained and applied polyurethane. I now have no issues with the dogs dragging the pads around and the oldest now makes it on the pad. these pads hold the urine fine. I have had no leaks, and no urine smell.

Seems like GREAT! PEE Pads, but have not ,or should i say, the DOGGIES, have not had a lot of experince with these YET. The few that the wife had me toss, NO LEAKS, BOTTOM DRY , Did what it was supposed to do . And seems to have done it VERY WELL! Size, is GREAT. Yes, a little expensive, but I always said you get what you pay for. Want junk , junk price, Want Good/great, expect to pay more.Last , Company policy and reaching out to me to MAKE SURE! I was completely PLEASED with their product .., Seems to be one of the few company's that feel the customer is NUMBER ONE! company's policy... , very refreshing.... !! No, I was NOT COMPESATED IN ANY WAY for this review!!! Great company policy and service , speaks volumes for Parachute pet Products, Nothing else NEEDED!!! Thank YOU. will re-review when used more..

I bought these (the XL size) looking for a large pad that my 6 month old small poodle mix could not destroy...or at least could not destroy easily. I had tried a couple of the leading brands, but she could tear those up in a second. She tried tearing into one of these and it held until I knew she was trying to rip it up. No tears, no rips, no small pieces coming off that she could eat. So, I was immediately SOLD on them. Love the large size, so I can use fewer of them. And they don't feel wet underneath like some of the other pads to when she uses them. The pee spot also seems to dry quicker than the other brands I had tried. So far, she's not tracking around the pad or carpet it if she steps on the pee spot.The package I got didn't look anything like the photo here, nor did I get any free training book that it mentions, but I wasn't looking for that, just trying to find a a good sized pad that my puppy could not destroy within 5 seconds of the pad hitting the floor.Love this product. Wish I'd have found it prior to wasting my money on some of the 'leading brand' stuff. Off to buy another bag of them now!
