Really strong construction & bright, adjustable, light stream
The good?* Strong, durable & heavy... about 1-1/2 lbs.* Useful rubber hand grip, 4" long, so your entire hand can fit on the grip.* Comes with a wristband to easily attach.* Adjusts from very wide, bright to very narrow, light stream, 2K lumens.* Waterproof.* Magnetic base. I like that I can stick it onto the top of my fridge & won't knock it over. I think it would also be useful in the car should you be in a dangerous position, like flat tire in the dark or rain... the strong light stuck to the car would be helpful to prevent you from getting hit. If these last long, I'll keep 2 in the car for that purpose... to place one on the front & back of the car so I'm seen.I mainly bought it for the rechargeable battery as it seems that whenever I'm in need of a flashlight, the batteries are dead or have leaked & ruined the flashlight or if I removed them to keep in a drawer, I'm stumbling around in the dark getting bumps & bruises trying to find & install them. I like a flashlight or 2 or 3 at the ready... 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the car & a third as backup under the bed in case I can't reach the other 2.The bad?* Nothing really. It is a bit pricey. I generally purchase flashlights 50% cheaper, but if this one lasts, then it's worth it & I'll buy more.Good to know?* Save the little instruction paper until you're used to the flashlight cuz it's got this cool feature. When in use, the button you push to turn off/on always stays lit. If it's orange, you have 25% power, green means it's more than 25%, flashing orange means it's lower than 25% & needs to be charged & flashing green means it's charging via USB (which you'd know as it will be plugged in).I'll update in 6-mos, which is generally the time every flashlight breaks or the batteries leak & ruin it.Right now, I like the design & heft & BIG BRIGHT light stream, so give it 5* out of 5.

VERY Bright Flashlight - Dual Lighting is Great Feature - Standard USB-C Is Handy
Overall this is a great flashlight. It's VERY bright, maybe even too bright for indoor use or close distances but the brightness is adjustable and it remembers the setting. I like the standard USB-C charging, but charging is on the slower side taking several hours to fully charge. I don't expect any need to replace the battery any time soon, which is good because it seems to be a VERY oddball battery and I could only find one vendor carrying that style online. But that is offset by the unique cob light in the sliding handle - combined with the strong magnet at the end it turns into a worklight with a quick pull. Battery life seems reasonable - in fairness I haven't needed to use it for hours on end and have not run out of charge yet.It does have a few quirks - the variable brightness is great and you can have it turn on to that preset by double-clicking the power button. A regular single click turns it on to full brightness, which as I mentioned is just crazy bright. I wish it defaulted to the preset brightness and took a double-click to go to full if you wanted. It also seems to take longer to charge than I expected.I keep this as more of an emergency flashlight and for that purpose it works very well. It's very well built and as a result a bit on the heavy side, so I'm not sure I would use it as a daily carry. But I have full confidence it will be working when I need it, so that has value to me.

Top-quality multi-purpose light with amazing versatility
I recently purchased a second Slyde King 2k, and it is definitely one of, of not the best flashlight I've ever owned. It's puts out a true 2000 lumens if light, which is more than enough for anyone's day-to-day practical needs. The focus from wide but well-defined flood, to precise and focused spot light is impressive. Then throw it thre awesome 500 lumen work light feature, and you have one incredibly versatile light. The slide feature for the work light. is smooth with just the right amount of tension so that it will never accidentally slide out and activate. And I love the red light function. It's perfect for times when you want to preserve your night vision, like getting around the campsite or tent when you're camping. I've used the flashing red light feature several times in place of flared when putting snow chains on in Washington's mountain passes, which is one of the main reasons ipurchased the second one - to have both a safety/warning light and magnetic work light (which attaches perfectly inside the wheel well), making putting the chains on at night so safe and easy.I purchased my first Slyde King abiut 2 years ago, and have used it almost daily at work where i frequently need to access a very busy truck/trailer yard at night, with lots of big rigs constantly moving about. There's defintely no chance that the truck drivers won't see me out there. After two years of continual use, the battery is showing no signs of losing potency.Overall, the Slyde King 2000 is a versatile, top-quality multi-purpose light at a bargain basement price, and I highly recommend it.

Love it
As someone who values quality and functionality in a flashlight, the Nebo Slyde King has truly impressed me. The build quality and materials are top-notch—it feels solid, durable, and has just the right amount of weight to it, giving a sense of reliability without being too heavy. One of my favorite features is the lantern function, which provides a bright, even light that’s perfect for hands-free use in a variety of situations. Whether camping, working on a project, or during a power outage, the lantern has proven to be incredibly useful. The magnetic base is another fantastic addition, allowing me to securely attach it to metal surfaces for added convenience. It’s a well-thought-out feature that makes this flashlight even more versatile.Overall, the Nebo Slyde King is a high-quality, thoughtfully designed flashlight that delivers on both performance and practicality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable tool that can handle a range of tasks!
