Love this shower head for our bathroom remodel. The black is gorgeous and looks high end. Im so happy that the pressure is high. The only negative thing is that if you have hard water, there will be white build up on the black fixtures over time. we just clean it regularly.

This shower set is built well of very high quality materials and seems to be well designed and thought out. Even the packaging is well thought out. I just finished my installation and it worked out well for me.Make sure to double and triple check the following and you'll be OK:1. What's the overall stack-up of the finished wall including any backer board, thinset, and tile? That's very important.2. In addition what's the depth of the female threads of whatever plumbing hardware you are using for the shower and the wand. The cover plate they provide for the shower has an o-ring and fits snugly unless it's on or near the threads, so if the threads are protruding from the finished wall, the cover plate will be loose. It's probably not a bad idea to get the components you're going to use and assemble them and measure.3. The instructions provided with the shower set are pretty good, but I think the portion that deals with determining the depth of the mixer valve box relative to the finished wall are confusing. It is simple: you want the some portion of the plastic box sticking out of the finished wall so you can trim it flush when you're done with tile. It's easy enough to figure that out, but I'd just use the box as a reference rather than use the measurements provided in the instructions. I trimmed the plastic flush to the tile with a dozuki saw. I think you could use a knife for the purpose, but it'll be hard to get a nice clean cut.

We have been so happy with this set up so far. The matte black is beautiful, it was fairly simple to install, not being plumbers, and it works great! We designed our smaller walk in shower and worried it would be too strong of a flow and splash all over the bathroom without glass. It is perfect. More of a rain shower pressure from the head but the handheld sprayer has stronger pressure. I have loved the extra handheld head, It makes cleaning the shower a breeze! I highly recommend it!!The only thing we changed is the arm for the head. It came with an arched one which would not work with our shower design so we got a rain shower arm and swapped them out.

Not only does this system look great/modern, the power on both the shower head and handheld are intense!!!

Well this is unfortunate. This system looks really great. It’s sleek, modern, pretty straight forward to install. I bought this august of 2019 while constructing my house. I didn’t install it until December 2019. Then moved in February. So we have used this shower system for 2 months approximately. The shower head has over the short amount of time developed a crack in the side and started spraying all over the place. I can’t find a way to contact supplier to get a new one. And obviously can’t return this item.EDIT!: they were able to reach out to me and sent me a new shower head free, I have installed it and it is working great thus far.

The build quality is excellent. The shower head produces a water fall that feels wonderful. I would be 100% happy with this shower fixture if it was not for the zero room for error on the shower wand installation. You have to know exactly how thick your wall will be so you can install the plumbing at the correct depth. If you’re off by more than 1/8 inch it will not fit together correctly. My backer board/waterproof membrane/tile/& mortar stuck out slightly further than I expected so I had to grind down the base of the shower wand to get it to fit without leaking.I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars because after 3 years of use I thought the valve that turns the wand on/off went bad. I contacted Sumerian and they sent me a new valve assembly for free, even though I was outside of the warranty period. After I disassembled the valve I found out it was a bunch of junk(from our 80 year old water lines) that was causing the issue. I felt like the great customer service was deserving of another star. It is a great product as well.

I remodeled my bathroom and decided this rain shower head and hand held shower would be perfect for my new shower. It was installed around May of 2019 and a year later it already started to rust. I’m aware this is 4 years later, but I never bothered to write a review because I’m not one to write negative reviews. The reason for this one is because a neighbor asked me about it and so I decided to do the right thing and help people to make a better choice.I do not recommend the SUMERIAN USA shower head!
