Mary MeyerStuffed Animal Soft Toy, Lobbie Lobster- Maine, 17-Inches

Just what I wanted. I live in Maine and everytime I go to New Jersey to visit my daughter and her family my son-in-law always asks if I brought him a Maine lobster. So I got this lobster for him for Christmas. He's going to take it with him when he flying on a mission. He is in the Air Force so this will be a mascot to go along with their Teddy Bear mascot. I saw some complaints from customers that the word Maine was on one of Lobbies' claws. When you think of lobster one usually thinks of Maine. Although the American lobster can be found on the Atlantic coast of North America chiefly from Labrador to New Jersey.

The is a really cute stuffed lobster. My husband grew up in Maine and wanted a lobster to use to tell stories to our grandchildren. Lobby, the Lobster is perfect for this. He is soft and cuddly and and my grandson wanted to use it for nap time immediately.I own a number of Mary Meyer stuffed animals (quite a few of the now discontinued Cheery Cheeks) and the quality is always great. Lobby is well made and should stand up to the kids use.

Super cute lobsters. I bought one for my niece (10 yo) and one for my nephew (6 yo). The claw does say "Maine" embroidered in white thread on the top of it, which I wasn't expecting and would have preferred it without - or at least it would have been nice to be given the option of purchasing it with/without it. This would be five stars otherwise! Cute stuffed animals and the kids liked them.
