I have been using this Sense-U Smart 2K Video Baby Monitor for about 6 months now. Have been happy with overall performance. Takes pictures and stores it on my phone itself. So no cloud subscription needed. The app is very helpful and straight forward too. I can access the live video, rotate the camera to see almost all directions. It also has auto motion detection and rotate, but I don't use that functionality as I want it fixed to on wide view only.Improvement: One thing I would like improved is photo picture quality sometimes come not as 2K, but somewhere lower resolution. I think it is more of App rather than camera as Video quality is good.

I have been searching for months before settling on an expensive monitor that I felt was worth the features and true to it's supposed ability- this one did not disappoint, at all. Everything I was looking for and more is covered in this product. I absolutely love it. Additionally, it was covered by my FSA so that was awesome. Lightly recommended.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like this baby cam. It's very easy to set up and has great video quality especially at night. I love that you can turn the volume and microphone on and off as needed. Sometimes the video does lag a little, I think it's because you can only connect to 2g and not 5g but it's no a big deal. The video storage option is awesome, it allows you to track the motion or detection. The micro sd slot is very easy to use and convenient for storing videos. I love that it comes with all the hardware for hanging on the wall if you want/need to. Overall a very nice camera for the price.

I used this for my newborn and I’m using it still. Helped put my mind at ease because this is a high quality camera we have mobi’s with our 1st born and decided to get a better camera for our 2nd. I can see my baby breathing from this camera. It’s that good if you are worried and don’t have one of those owlet socks for your baby. It also moves with every motion detection. So if your baby is safe sleeping and you don’t have to watch you will get a notification on your phone saying there was movement which is nice to not have your eyes glued to the screen as long as baby is safe sleeping. The only downfall is that it does take a minute to load when you exit app and re open it.

We are expecting our second child in December. We used a different brand monitor with our first child and we had planned on using it this go around as well. However it ALWAYS has difficulty connecting and it cuts off randomly which is super frustrating. I figured it was our Wi-Fi or something. But a friend of mine recommended that we try Sense-U bc they had such a great experience and i am so grateful that she did! It has been a lifesaver. We can actually rotate the camera instead of only being able to partially see our son. The picture is super clear even at night. My husband can log in and check on him while he’s at work. So far we are beyond pleased. We also got the clip on sleep monitor and can’t wait to use it with our new born in December. I would 100% recommend this over a cheaper camera. Trust me, we made that mistake the first time around.

Purchased the non-2k model. The video quality on it isn’t bad. If something is within a certain range, you can see it pretty clearly. The design looks nice and setup to the mobile app was pretty easy. And I like that you can use an SD card instead of storing in their cloud. But that’s where all the good stops.Opening the app and connect the camera takes quite a bit of time. This is meant to be a pan-tilt camera, and it does this, but horribly. There is so much latency between me pressing a command on the app and the actual camera responding. The app displays a tap wheel to control the camera it is NOT accurate. Sometimes when a tap to move, it’ll adjust slightly. Other times, with the same tap, it’ll rotate 45 degrees or more. So it’s very inconsistent. Also, there’s no volume control for its speakers. When I first powered this on, it gave several loud chimes during setup. Very annoying. Truthfully, I would only use this as a static camera. I would take advantage of the pan-tilt feature because it just doesn’t work well. I don’t know if the newer 2K version words better, but I don’t want to find out.
