I have been using these for about 3 weeks now on walks in the Ochil Hills. For walking on ice and sodden vegetation they are excellent and grip like limpets. However some types of snow clump on the cleats and they don't work so well. However I think this would happen to any cleat in that type of snow, not just Wardwolf cleats.With practice you can put them on and off without taking your boots off which is really helpful.I came down a hill today which was so slippy I would have had real problems if I hadn't had these with me.In these current times, when the last thing you want is to have an injury requiring a hospital visit, they're a life saver.

Good for flat walking on small/ shallow snow and ice. Any deeper snow and the blades get compacted with snow making you a nice snow slipper. I would not recommend for deep snow ascents (unfortunately proper crampons are required) but they are good for the shallower snow hikes, you can feel the difference and can knock against stones etc to get off any stuck snow theyre pretty hardy. Definitely strap into them good though because Ive lost so many pairs that have slipped off my foot in the snow.

Grand, do the job... I had a large in another make and they were huge.These suggested I needed Large, but I as I was at the bottom end of the size grouping I bought medium (for a UK6), and they are perfect....buy smaller than you need if you are on the bottom end of the size scale!

This is amazing. It really helps to walk on snow. It keeps you safe as walking along, extremely steardy and easy to put on. I would recommend this to anyone who needs this for snowy weather.

Didn’t like that initially very stiff to put on but after first wear they were easier. They stayed on firmly even in deep snow (6-8 inches). Would recommend for uk snow. They cine in their own pouch so good safe storage.

After using a cheaper set of spring type grips for a good few years that did an okay job, I wanted something that would work really well so decided to pay a bit more for this set. I'm so glad I did! I've just got back from a walk into town along compacted snow and ice and bare tarmac.These performanced fantastically well fitted onto a pair of motocross boots. They didn't move once fitted and I didn't even use the velcro strap! They bite into the ice extremely well giving great traction. I'd be happy to buy another set should I need to.

Amazing! I am always scared of walking on icy pavements since I once slipped over. These fit my walking boots securely and they are completely non slip. I love them.
