I got it, to help my kid with brushing long enuff. The wider base is great. Easy to flip and not fall over like others. Even timed it with a stop watch and it was right on 2 mins. No complaints.

It’s large enough not to loose it and a great visual using as a student timer in class.

Item is what I expected

We routinely play a card game that requires a lot of thought and many ways you can play and replace cards. We were always getting irritated with some of the players taking long periods of time for their turns. We purchased this 3 minute timer and no more problems. Love it!

I bought many of these sand timers for my class. My first through third graders use them often, and they aren't holding up. I have had them for about 2 and 1/2 years. I have had to reglue many of them. But this is also for a class of 30 students. If it was for home use or fewer children it would probably be fine.
