Simply Ming Premiere Gourmet Pressure Cooker with Technolon+ - Black

The pressure cooker works well, I just need to learn how to cook with it. I've ordered a cook book to help me out but the cooker itself works well. I'm sure once I know how to use it, I'll love it.

I have had this for close to 10 years. I can sear a roast in it then switch to slow cook and make pot roast. I sear veggies in it then switch over to slow cook and make amazing soups. I have made mouth watering ribs, pea soup on pressure cook setting, a whole chicken, stuffing, lasagna, and much more. It stays on my counter and I use it every week. I should have bought two and just stored one away as a gift because my friends and my boss want one after they saw mine! Love it!!!!

terrible! do not invest in this item. it worked only for 6 months!

A little background. This pressure cooker is actually available on a shopping channel for a lot more money. but I have been eyeing it on that channel and watching the demo on it (for over a month) thinking I would catch a price break. I have prime so I rarely order anything where I have to pay shipping. I then, decided to order another pressure cooker from this same shopping channel. but this was the one i wanted. So I canceled the other pressure cooker order and ordered this one. (paying over $10 shipping) When I got it I was gleeful. it looked beautiful the insert looked great and I was ready to get cooking. I made beef stew, It worked great and cleanup was easy. I then made dal (lentils) When I was cleaning the insert I saw all these scratches on the bottom. I knew the technolon insert had to be babied but this was bad. I wanted to keep it but with the 6.5 capacity I was not sure I could get a stainless steel insert that would work. So then I had to spend $15 to send it back :-(

Awesome pressure cooker it works great.
