I love that this product dispenses in a clear gel and get applied liberally to do its magic. No messy black dye to get on clothing or mess up painted surfaces (you will get some on your paint...it's inevitable). It lasts for weeks before needing to reapply, and even longer if you keep your ride in a garage. Buy it! You won't regret it!

The Turtle Wax trim restorer works well and when dry does bring back trim color. You have to make sure you tape off area around part your applying it or it leaves a oily residue on paint. For price it is a good product, should last a month or more if you don't wash vehicle a lot.

I have a 2015 Ford Escape that has a lot of black plastic, textured cladding on the entire side of the vehicle in addition to that on the rear bumper cover. It was getting faded , streaked with water and mud stains from the road way. Had used Meguiars Gold Class trim restorer that did an ok job, but didn't last and didn't really bring back the color the way that I had hoped it would. I also used Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax on the trim. It worked somewhat, but the trim still didn't look that great.Saw some trim detailer comparison tests on YouTube where some showed that the Turtle Wax Trim Restorer performed better than many of the more well known brands. I bought a bottle and tried it. The trim immediately looked much better. It was darker, the color was more even and looked almost like new. The product is oil based. It is best applied when you can let the vehicle sit over night while it dries and absorbs into the trim. I buffed the trim with a micro fiber towel the next morning and the trim looked like new. I gave the trim a second coat a few days later following the same procedure as the first. After several months the trim still looks like new. This is a great product.The only down side is that Turtle Wax appears to be discontinuing this product as it has disappeared from big box stores, auto parts store chains and the Turtle Wax website. Because of this, I'm not real happy with Turtle Wax Co. as they are killing the Ice line of products and much of their Quick and Easy line while they push the more expensive Ceramic line of products. If you can find this trim restorer buy it while you can as you soon may not be able to find it again.

I thought this was going to be a different product but its basically just another silicone-based gel. Does this make your trim look black? Yes, quite well actually but since its silicon, it will leave things slick and prone to attract dust and dirt. While I don't use my running boards to get in/out of my truck my shoe does hit against it and it's definitely slicker feeling. Also, a neighbor cutting his lawn next door as well as using a leaf blower to clean off the driveway blew enough dust on all the newly Turtle waxed trim pieces and boards and stuck to everything. Note that my method of application is to use an old terry towel to apply the gel and then follow it up with a microfiber to rub away the excess so the product is not slathered on at all. I wipe it off as dry as I can get it and it still leaves the trim looking black so I do like it for that however the dust collection is annoying to me so at $7 it doesn't pain me to throw it out and find something else. Hope this helps somebody make their decision to buy or not.

Have used this for years. Have tried others brands. Have even tried the newer Turtle Wax Hybrid. I like this the best.

I’ve used other products for my jeep jumpers and fenders and never was quite happy. This stuff is the absolute best I have tried and will be sticking with it. First, a little goes a LONG way. It’s a liquid gel formula unlike some competitors that are more of a cream consistency. The product applies quickly and evenly. The color enhancement is by far superior to other products I have tried. Many people are concerned with the lasting power of these treatments. Nothing is going to last and stand up to Mother Nature. But wirh that said, I have noticed that this product lasts longer than any I have previously used. Looks great after a hard rain and I can’t say that about others. Try it and see what you think. Highly recommend this product.
