BonideWeed Beater Ultra, 32 oz Concentrate Fast-Acting Protection Against Broadleaf Weeds in Warm & Cool Weather

This broadleaf weedkiller is da bomb! I have tried all of the popular Ortho and Spectracide weedkillers, but none of them kill ALL types of broadleaf weeds, regardless of what they say. For example, Ortho will kill clover with white flowers but not the clover with yellow flowers, and vice versa for the Spectracide. Bonide Weed Beater lays waste to all of them, and pretty quickly too. I HIGHLY recommend using an adhesive agent (or spreader sticker), such as Bonide's Turbo Spreader Sticker, to make sure the weed killer sticks to the waxy leaves that most broadleaf weeds have. If you don't use a sticking agent, then a lot of the weed killer just runs off of the leaves.UPDATE: In the past, I had to dig up wild onions in my turfgrass by hand because I was not able to find anything that would kill them. Even Roundup was only partly effective. No more. When a few onions popped up recently, I tried hitting them with Weed Beater (mixed with a little surfactant/sticking agent), and they were dead within a week. I love this stuff!

Best weed killer I’ve ever used. It really doesn't get the credit it deserves. Doesn’t kill surrounding vegetation, only the broadleaf weeds. I’ve never seen this in stores and was recommended it by an old guy at an old family owned garden center and it worked flawlessly to tamp down and disappear all the chickweed and shotweed in the lawn without even touching the actual grass. This is the first year I don’t have a problem with the shotweed if you know shotweed you know it almost impossible to pull or deal with. I wouldn’t broadcast spray this with a garden hose even though it says you can on the label, due to its savage effectiveness I just wouldn’t take the chance. Awesome product

With intent to kill, I mixed according to directions, checked the weather choosing a dry period to target my victims and snuck up on each of the approximately 75 dandelions and sprayed away. They wilted and curled in agony within a day, yet I was surprised to see they stayed in that state for well over a week to 10 days before fading into oblivion. It did the job, ridding my yard of the nasty invaders.

I was hoping this stuff was what the professionals use, you know, the guys that charge $125 a season to rid your lawn of weeds...those guys. Well, I'm happy and then again, not so happy. This stuff kills the weeds immediately...for a couple of days, and then if you don't hit the same weeds with this stuff again, they come right back, the weeds. I'm going to continue using this product...do I have faith that it will rid my lawn of those pesky weeds...no...at least I'm trying.

Product arrived as advertised. Applied product to my lawn and the results were more than satisfying. Began killing the weeds in my lawn within hours of applying this product. It took several days, almost a week, before the weeds were completely down and out but that's how its suppose to work. No damage to my lawn at all. Extremely pleased and will be using this product exclusively from now on.

Used this product and it does do a good job of killing clover. However, it does kill, or stunt, some of the grass I wanted to product. My big issue is that I learned today I am set up to get automatic delivers of this product every 3 months. I still have a supply of the product and do not want additional product. I processed a cancel order request. If the product is delivered i will return it to Amazon. This is not a complaint of Amazon who I have been very happy with.

For my cool season lawn, this stuff is magic. Hard weeds (Creeping Charlie, Spurge, ect.) need 2 apps easy weeds (clover, dandelion,) only 1 app. Combined with a sticker and 65 to 80 degrees non stressed lawn it will impress you.

This is marketed as safe for grass. NO- IT **KILLS GRASS** I have several dead areas in my yard now. I am extremely unhappy with this product and will NOT BUY AGAIN.
