Disney Baby Lullaby: Favorite Sleepytime Songs for Baby and You

honestly , I just bought this cd for my grown son . I haven't opened it yet for I want to give it to him the next time he is in town, which could be awhile We were talking about this particular tape the other evening . I told him I still had it from 26 yrs ago but when I put it in the tape deck it didn't work so I looked on amazon and found the cd . These songs warm your heart and stay with you for the rest of your days younger parents may not recognized which movie the songs may be from but still a good choice of melodies forgoing to sleep at night/ naptime. I did receive this cd in a very timely mannerthe cassette tape was called "Disney Lullaby Favorites" the cd is called "Disney Babies Lullaby"By the way I did open it and check to if all was ok its perfect ! the same songs

I listened to this music as a little girl being a bit scared at night (in the 90's). I had received the cassette tape for Christmas from my parents. When my 4 year old began feeling frightened at night I pulled out the cassette tape I had saved since I was small. She immediate loved it and felt safe in her room alone. One night her little 2 year old sister got a hold of the tape and so joyfully tore all the tape out of the cassette and destroyed it! :( my 4 year old and I were devastated!!!! I quickly had my sister and her boyfriend searching for a replacement online. I would have paid a lot of money to get our tape back. We found the cd on amazon. I read through the songs and new it was the same one! I purchased it and a few days later we had it waiting for us in our mail box. We were so happy and it only cost around 10 bucks! Love love love this cd and I will forever!

I first heard this CD (cassette, actually) 17 years ago when my nephew was a baby. I babysat a lot and he and I got to know it well. When I had my own baby last year I was so happy I could find it! I ordered it right away and it lived up to my memory. It's got songs that you can sing along with even if you're like me and have a terrible voice (by the way, baby doesn't care if you carry a tune-he just likes to hear you sing). I enjoy the songs. They're cute, pleasant and relaxing - just what the doctor ordered at bed time. There are 1 or 2 songs I could do without but I like the majority of them. For those who find the songs boring or slow-of course they are; they're lullabies! For those who don't like the background movements-the CD is not meant for teaching a music class; it's meant to help put your kid to sleep.

I bought this cd because both my daughter and myself LOVE Disney. I adore most of the classic songs and have been looking for a good Baby Mine for a long time. The price was right and it had great reviews so I went for it. I received it in the mail yesterday and just in time. I got laryngitis yesterday and wasn't able to sing to my daughter like I normally do every night. My husband sang to her instead which was nice but she wasn't happy mama didn't sing so she started to cry. I grabbed the cd, popped it in the player in her room, held her while it started, and put her in bed. She literally rolled over and started listening to it. She was asleep within 10 minutes. This is amazing as she just graduated to a toddler bed so she gets out at least three times before she stays put. All I can say is thank you for putting this cd together!

At first i didn't really like this cd. they take well-known songs and over-synthesize them. i also think it is pricey compared to some of the other options (i guess that's what you pay for having 'disney' on the label). HOWEVER, this CD is the BEST when baby is wired and won't go to sleep. i have NEVER seen her stay awake through the third song. so, it's my miracle cd and i wouldn't trade it for anything.

This is an amazing gift to give to an expectant mother. I purchased this before my twin daughters were born and had it in the nursery from the time i brought them home and they listened to it for 3 years at when we are in thatbedtime and nap times. I even took it along on a road trip to soothe them when they were cranky. Works like a charm. Sometimes i even listen to some of the songs on the cd and it brings tears to my eyes because of the memories I have listening to it. My daughters are now 20. They too still like to listen to them with me.

This is at least the third copy of this CD I have purchased! This time it was for a baby shower gift!I remember having this same compilation on cassette in the 80s when my sister was a baby. So I knew when I got pregnant I had to find this set of lullabies! My daughter (now 7) loved falling to sleep to them! My 5 year old son STILL listens to the CD every night at bedtime!And my sister just had her first child 2 days ago.... I know he is going to love these lullabies as much as everyone before him!

This is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST lullaby CD I have ever heard/purchased and I have qiute a few including the classics from Baby Einsten. You will not find many famous songs here but the music and lyrics are just so soothing and relaxing and some are just really fun! My older now 4 year old daughter has been listening to it since she was a baby and there were nights when she would refuse any other music and requested specifically this CD. I now know the whole CD by heart and find myself humming the songs on random occasions :)I wish there was a Part 2!!!

My four and a half year old has been sleeping in our bed on and off (but definitely more on) for her entire life. We moved into a bigger home a few years ago where she has her own room, and I have been trying my hardest to entice her to want to sleep in it...we tried stickers, letting her choose her bedding and curtains, night lights, laying with her until she falls asleep, etc.One day I was browsing Amazon and I saw this CD and figured, why not, maybe it will help her fall asleep it's worth a shot at such a low price.Since the first day she played it (she has a small CD player in her room) she has been in love. The music is both soothing and interesting, some songs are mostly instrumental and some with more singing...but it is so well put-together that it doesn't really sound like "baby music" as much as other children's bedtime CDs I have heard.Now at bedtime, my daughter gets a story, tucked in, kiss goodnight and a "please turn my music on mama!"...she is now asleep by the third or fourth song without issue. My only complaint is I just wish I had found this sooner!

My child falls asleep quickly with this lovely cd, nice, gentle versions of familar songs. Nice to listen to with her and such a cosy atmosphere I often fall asleep too

とっても和む曲ばかりです。知らず知らずに口ずさんでいるので、子供の子守唄変わりにもなります。色々な童謡、クラッシックを聞いてきましたが、これが一番落ち着きますよ。

Love this cd!!!! Was my favourite as a child and now It's my sons favourite night time cd! Listened it from a baby to 4 years!! Soon I will be playing it for my new daughter when she is born! The songs are the perfect lullabys to sing again and again!!!

Lovely cd, sends my kids off to sleep at bedtime nicely!
