This is excellent as a spare radio...very compact.

reasonably priced DAB/FM radiomy only issue is how loud the minimum volume is (not loud loud, but not that quiet) hence the 4 stars. Overall sound quality is pretty good though

This little portable DAB radio is very middling as far as I'm concerned.Sure, it's very small and compact. Runs off batteries so can be taken anywhere. It's also very lightweight. But that's the extent of the positives.It doesn't come very well packaged - indeed a plain brown box isn't very confidence boosting.The instructions aren't easy to understand or read, plus the controls are not very intuitive at all - you WILL need to read the instructions to figure things out.The build quality of the radio also leaves a lot to be desired with a very plasticky exterior. The aerial seema ok, but again - nothing special.Sound quality and reception is ok, nothing exceptional, but adequate.All things considered, this is an ok radio, but definitely not worth the over £40 it was listed at when I got it.

The media could not be loaded.  This DAB radio is quite small and portable at only 7 inches across, it's also very light. It will work off 4 AA batteries (not supplied) or using the USB lead which is supplied, however there is no USB plug supplied and I don't know why the radio is black but the USB lead is white, it looks odd.The tuning is quick and easy however using any of the more advanced features is not quite so easy, for instance I wanted to populate the preset buttons along the top but nowhere in the instructions could I see how to do it. You can actually preset up to 30 channels using the big MEM button and the up down and that is explained in the manual but the preset buttons along the top are not explained. I finally found out through trial and error that you need to tune the station you want then hold down the preset button you want to allocate it to.The backlight on the LCD display goes out very quickly whether you are using batteries or using the USB lead. I found that there is a setting for this allowing you to increase the time up to 180 seconds or even make it on permanently, however the setting is hidden under Menu->System->Display->Timeout and once set the display will not go out (for however long you've set it for) even if you turn the radio to Standby. One of the things I discovered in the manual is you can activate TA traffic information which could be handy.The sound is about average for a radio this size i.e. there's not a lot of depth to the sound but it works okay. You can also manually tune the DAB or manually tune the radio in FM. One thing I found a bit frustrating is the digital volume because the volume changes in steps and the minimum volume is quite loud in a small room.This is a small, light DAB radio that pretty much works as you would expect. Use it at work or take it on your travels maybe.

It is small and works well.To turn on the device press power button onceTo turn on the radio press power button for 3 seconds.The reception and sound are good 👍The design is clean.It can be operated by AA batteries 🔋🔋🔋🔋 or lead .I've dropped a star as the opening for batteries is a little flimsy.But other than that it is a good product. 👍

This radio works really well, picks up stations immediately and sounds crisp and clear. Pretty simple to set up and it is super slim and lightweight. It’s really handy that it can run on a usb cable without batteries.

This is a combination of an old and a modern radio packed in a tiny hosing. It’s old because still has the FM band and can be powered with 4 AA type battery but also modern because it has the DAB function and it can be powered trough USB. It is a lot smaller than I thought it will be, 7” Long 4” in height and 1.5 inch thick. The size it makes this radio very portable, great for taking with you while camping or just keep it in the garage or in the shed. Thanks to the Micro USB port it can be powered with basically anything, like connected into a phone charger, power bank or even into a laptop USB port. The built quality is ok for the price. On the top there is a Power button and 4 buttons for present radio stations also a volume button. At the front there is a small 1.5-inch display with orange backlit and the menu buttons. The Mono speaker is located behind a steel mash. Compare to the size it has a reasonably good sound quality, the sound distortion is existing but not that bad for such a small radio. User manual and a 1m long USB cable was also included in the box.
