This was perfect for someone like me that is brand new to playing guitar

Pros: entire screen turns bright green when in tune. Very easy to see. Very inexpensive, only a third of what you would pay for the more common versions.Cons: has trouble picking up the open low e string on the guitar, but I use the 12th fret harmonic which it handles perfectly.I have a lot of guitars so I put one in every case and never have to search for a tuner.

It did work right away with the enclosed battery. You do have to know the note of each string on the guitar or banjo. I would order from this company again, thank you.

So easy to use. Only real accurate way to quickly tune your instrument. Faster and easier than using my piano.

It malfunction and drained the battery it came with despite turning it off between my tuning and it drained 2 additional battery I purchased within span of 3 weeks.
