These are great for camping with kids. The flashlight has enough power to light the way while walking, the glow stick is perfect as a nightlight in the tent, the lanyard makes sure it doesn't get lost & the whistle for when they are older and need it for survival skills while hiking.Would not hesitate to order these again

Good little light :) Check to see if they work as soon as you get them!
I will start off by saying, 5 of my 6 lights worked perfectly. The one that didn't had a problem with just the red led part- the flashlight worked fine. When my hubby got home, he just juggled it a little and the red went on fine. I think there was just a connection problem. I didn't mind it though. I only needed 4 for now, and on top of that I used to work in an electronics production line so I know how things can just be shaken loose during shipping, etc.My 3 year old loves this. I saw them at a church camp out the other year and the kids all loved them. I know this will work well for Halloween and for my tot's emergency kit. The flash light I have to admit isn't a "wow" factor, but I love the glow stick function and the whistle. I purchased this mainly for that reason, so IF I were to be separated from my tot at a camp-out, she would know to blow the whistle and turn on the red light. Is it super heavy duty? No. Is it to be relied on as your only source of light? No. But for a super light glow stick to be reused over and over instead of those regular glow sticks, it is awesome. Very happy with this item :)

Love, love, love these glow sticks. I purchase them in bulk and hand them out as party favors at our camping birthday parties. They can be used as flashlights, glow sticks, strobe lights, and both a flash light and glow stick at the same time. The price is reasonable considering what you would pay for just a disposable glow stick or flashlight. Well worth the money, well made, and so far...durable! We purchased them in red, blue, and green and have used them to identify teams when playing dusk laser tag outside!
