I thought about this purchase for a while, but am glad I decided to get it. Well made and does just what it promises to do. I like it a lot.

This lightbox gets pretty bright, and doesn't get hot, which is great for working on it for hours straight. It is very thin, which will make taking it with me on my frequent travels much easier than with a bulkier one. It's thinness also makes it easy to prop up, which I use to draw more comfortably on it. At it's brightest, I can clearly see through well over 5 sheets of printer paper, which is more than enough for the animation I use it for.I really don't like the brightness control, which is touch-activated: you touch the circle on the upper left, and the longer you touch it, the brighter it gets. It's hard for me to make it dimmer without letting it get as bright as possible first. I would also like being able to tell which brightness level it's at; some up and down arrows denoting brightness, or a scroll wheel would make it much more foolproof to interface with.I do wish that Huion (the seller I bought from, who is also the product's manufacturer) would include a wall adapter instead of tracing paper and a bag, both of which are cute, but much less useful, especially the tracing paper. Aren't lightboxes meant to be used with thicker paper that's hard to see through under normal lighting? If I weren't lucky enough to already have a standard USB to electrical outlet adapter because of my ancient flip phone, I would have gone for a different lightbox.All in all, it's a great lightbox, even for those who can afford the more expensive options.
