This mouse flies!
I’ve been a big fan of Razer gear for a while now. I started with the 3.5g Naga and later switched to the 2014 Naga. When I got the 2014 model, I had some doubts, but my trusty old 3.5g Naga was starting to wear. The Razer Naga has always been my go-to for MMORPG games, but it’s also awesome for real-time strategy (RTS) games too. What stands the Razer Naga X out of the crowd this time around is its weight – it’s super light at just 83 grams, even less than advertised. That makes gaming for hours a lot more enjoyable. When I compared it to my old Razer Naga Chroma from 2014, I was surprised to find that the Chroma wasn’t as heavy as it claimed by default, coming in at 106 grams. Switching to the Naga X, with its lighter build, felt taking an even further chunk off of that, rather than it increasing like it did on the pro with its 117 grams. One downside, though, is the side number buttons. You might accidentally press them with your thumb. It was a quirk I had with the 2014 model too. But here’s the good news – it gets better as you get used to it.Now, about the scroll wheel – the Naga X’s scroll feels a bit stiffer than my old Chroma. Maybe it’s because the Chroma has seen more action over the years. The newer mice, while not bad, don’t feel as fancy in terms of build quality. But here’s something great – the Naga X is very accurate, even if you crank up the DPI for fast movements. And it works like a charm on my wooden desk without needing a mousepad. One thing to remember is that the Naga X is missing some features you’ll find in the Pro version. But if you want a lightweight and budget-friendly gaming mouse, the Naga X might be for you.In a nutshell, the Razer Naga X is a solid upgrade, especially because it’s so light. It’s a plug-and-play mouse that might have a few quirks initially, but it’s definitely worth considering. If you’re eyeing the Pro version, rest assured, they’re pretty similar in quality. The Naga X is a great choice if you want a straightforward and easy-to-use gaming mouse. Happy gaming!

button blunder
so i ordered the mouse for th2 12 buttons on the side and when it arrived all 12 button either got stuck or refused to work, my advice for anyone looking at this pay the extra and don't get conned by this seller and i would not give it a star

Looks cheap and seems too light
Never bought any Razer products before, and I decided to try it out. Out of the box, one of the thumb pad buttons didn't work at all, so I had to return it. The mouse feels cheap and weighs nothing, number pad buttons are hard to distinguish from one another, and Razer software acts like malware.

Had to return
Had to return this item as it worked for 4 minutes then stopped. Mouse wouldn't work at all. Looked online and it's a known issue with this model where it tries to draw too much power from the USB to power the LEDs. This fried the board.Returned for a full refund. Next model up works fine

2 sent and 2 faulty
Overall love Razer products.First one had a very sensitive 11 button that even when you didn’t touch it, it activated randomly, if you just put your finger over it without pressing down it spammed.Second one - ‘8’ was physically harder to press down, the 12 double clicked and the 3 and 5 only responded to 1 out of 10 clicks.I’ve been a Razer user for years, the simple answer is, this isn’t built as well as the other naga options.Honestly disappointed with it, but was hopeful it was a 1 off, but 2 in a row doesn’t feel right.Have returned again, will go for a different modelTo confirm I had tested with Razer synapse installed and uninstalled and with 2 laptops, still the same issues.

Ok but not great
I was looking for one of these mice with the 12 buttons on the side and for the most part this works fine. I don't use this for gaming, more productivity the software allows you to bind the keys to a Verity of functions. The max polling rate isn't really up to the standards of a premium gaming mouse anyway. Where this mouse suffers is that it is very light and it doesn't have a compartment for adding weights to it that even cheap mice have so value wise it's not that good. There a probably better options if your looking for this type of mouse at this price point.

Best MMO mouse I've used...
The Naga X is it! As a long time WoW player since original TBC, I have used every mouse you can think of. When MMO mouses came out and I made the switch to using them, I have tried them all. I settled on the Naga Trinity which I have been using now for the last few years. Do they last long? Not really. I think I have been through around 4 or 5 Trinitys since I have used them. Either a side button stops working when pressed and doesn't register everytime or the scroll wheel gets really notchy and hard to use which I use alot. My last 2 Trinitys were bad scroll wheels. When playing I use scroll wheel up/down/click with shift modifiers whether it's arena targeting or other class abilities. Also the 2 buttons behind the scroll wheel I remap to ALT and Shift so I can hold that button down and use a key on my keyboard for a bind.I decided to try the Naga X this time recommend by a rank 1 glad player and it's nothing but amazing and an improvement over the Trinity IMO. It's noticeably lighter by a lot. Doesn't it feel sort of like cheap plastic? Yes, but I could care less. That's why it is light. I noticed the razer symbol on the back of the mouse doesn't light up like it does on the Trinity. I could care less, hand is covering that part of the mouse anyways. That's probably also why it lighter. Does the X have interchangeable side panels for the amount of buttons you want on the side? No, that's why I'm buying an MMO mouse so that's not important to me. If I wanted a mouse with 2 or 6 buttons than I'd be buying something else. Just a marketing thing in my eyes for the Trinity to give people more options. The PTFE feet seem to glide better and feel smoother. The speed flex cable on the X is amazing compared to the stiff Trinity cable, another plus. I've never been a fan of wireless mice like the Naga Pro for example. I don't ever want to worry about battery life or my mouse to stop working. It's like wireless internet compared to wired. An ethernet connection is much more secure and something less to worry about as with anything wired. A mouse is no different. The side buttons feel the same between the two, nice light click and responsive. The scroll wheel on the X beats the Trinity hands down. The reason is because the Trinity has tilt left/right and the X does not. That tilt left/right causes the scroll wheel to feel loose overtime and with my experience causes the gear in the scroll wheel to get notchy and cause scrolling problems. I never used tilt scroll wheel so it's not important to me. The scroll wheel on the X is solid and smooth as butter. No tilt left/right but nice solid smooth scroll up/down/click. The X only has one big button behind the scroll wheel which I remaped to ALT. For some reason I find hitting that 1 big button easier than the 2 buttons on the Trinity. I can live without a 2nd button, didn't really use it tbh. Can't miss it or fat finger a second button. Not really sure what else to say other than I'd highly recommend giving the X a shot if what I've listed is important to you. Time will tell now how the X holds up compared to the Trinity overtime but the Naga X is my new go to mouse. Going to buy another as a backup because they are on sale and I can buy 2 for the price of 1 Trinity.
