Instant improvement in audio
This is an amazing deal for a bunch of sound deadening panels. My office had a terrible echo that would throw off the audio quality for everything. If I was listening to an audio track I was editing, the reverb in the room would make the audio sound terrible, which forced me to wear headphones. Also if I was recording audio or talking into a mic, the non treated room would have my audio sounding completely unprofessional. These panels look nice and are a very inexpensive way to improve your audio quality in a room, whether you are listening to it or recording it.

The price was right
The price was right, but I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the dimensions were off. It was advertised as 1”x 12” x 12”, but they varied from 3/4 to 7/8 thick and for length and width 11 3/4” to 11 7/8”, and that after unpacking and letting them sit open for days. I suspect that the way they were vacuum packed and scrunched into small packages may have permanently deformed them. When I got a big shipment from another supplier, they were not vacuum packed, and they were perfect. The biggest problem was that I had to use part of the old batch with the new, and matching them both without voids and looking awful was a real trick, requiring too much time.

Very thin
Just a note so people don't get confused if your just looking to cancel some small noise like video gaming or some kind of podcast it's ok. It's not meant for studio noise reduction if putting just the acoustic foam alone. So in my case i used it in my garage but i insulated the ceiling first and hung 3 layers of moving blankets heavy duty ones around the whole perimeter of garbage walls. Witch is made of solid concrete. Then i put two layers of 1/4 inche of cork material witch is used for flooring or ceiling for sound dampening then i put the acoustic foam on top of that. So pretty much i spent in all materials and the foam lighting for a finished studio in my garage $2,000. So now i don't have to pay $30 hour for studio practice ✌

Not great, but you get what you pay for
As acoustic panels, these are sub-par. They're thin, don't cancel sound particularly well, and are simpy just a very cheap version of an audio panel. If you just want some foam up on the wall, these are fine. If you want a real audio panel, your needs will have to be very modest for these to work suitably. Would only recommend for non-audio or VERY light-audio dampening needs.

Sound proof walls
When these arrived they were all flat, I was very surprised that they all fluffed out. I suggest opening up and let sit for a couple days. Works great

decent sound reduction
Foam squares readily expanded to full size. They reduced the noise in the area where they were applied.

Never fully got to size.
I may have just gotten a bad batch, but it was really thin and several pieces were exponentially smaller. I had to buy a second batch, and they were the same… I used way more than I should have to get the results one order should have done. In the end, it’s “okay”. I’m still not getting too much noise dampening. There are probably some better for the price. I would not recommend.

You might want to look elsewhere
Doing a larger project with these acoustic panels and I would recommend looking at another seller before settling with these ones. All 96 were accounted for, but unfortunately it seems like there was an issue at the warehouse when they compressed the panels. Nearly all of the panels were pinched together on the edges where the bag was sealed. I waited 3 days after taking them out of the bag to see if they would expand, they did not. I tried soaking them in the tub of hot water, also nothing. I tried throwing them in the dryer with some tennis balls, still nothing. The only thing that worked to fix some of them was using my steam cleaner with a brush attachment and painstakingly brushing and pulling on them to fluff them back up.I did try to reach out and received no response from the seller so I went through Amazon to get a partial refund since not all were ruined. Hopefully they corrected this issue for future customers.I've since ordered from two different sellers (2 different types of panels) and both were perfectly wrapped with 0 issues. Good luck out there!

Great value, ignore reviews about it been "squashed"
These panels are really good value. Not the highest quality but for the price they're well worth it. When they first arrive the foam is completely compressed (I mean as flat as a pancake!) However as the description states, it's best to leave them for around 24 to 48 hours at least and they pop right back into shape. (Just like how a memory foam mattress does) ignore all these reviews saying it's "too flat" and poor quality. (That video review with the guy kicking off saying "it's no good, it's flat, I want a refund" 🤣 what an absolute melt) If any of them could actually read past their own nose, they might one day understand how foam works *face palm. Anyway, with this listing of 96 panels I was almost able to fill a wall that's 4 meter by 2 meters. Not quite though, so I'll have to order some more but for now that's hidden under my desk. The foam is very "sponge" like with plenty of airation, so not like a nice quality dense foam and some people may not like that but it does the job and looks good. Oh and foam doesn't sound proof, again, I'm seeing many reviews saying it "doesn't work". The only thing that doesn't work is the brain of someone who thinks you can sound proof a room with foam. Foam is designed to reduce echo and reverb, so microphones don't get as much feedback, that's all. Overall, it's cheap and cheerful and yes it does the job. Pictures attached so you can see what it looks like.

Not even close
Needed ~84 panels to do a wall for hfq absorption. Gave these tiles two weeks to expand. Approx. 60% of the tiles ended up with tapered edges from the vacuum sealing; 90% of the tiles did not measure 12x12; while the variance will be good for most people, tiling a 7x12 wall with misc sized tiles would leave gaps everywhere.Rather spend a bit more and get a product where I don't need to re-cut every single one.Just some more garbage from the other side of the world.
