In one of my vehicles, I have both white- and black-face units; although illuminated, the white is barely legible during night-use.When ordering your oil pressure sending unit, make sure that you select the correct, matching one to your gauge i. e. 0 to 5 bar or 0 to 10 bar. A bar is a unit of pressure equivalent to 100,000 newtons per square meter or approximately one atmosphere.Other than the illumination matter, I find that all the KUS instruments that I have: ammeters, clock, aqua temperature, oil pressure gauges to be of excellent quality. KUS ammeters, like VDO ammeters, have a wide-range sweep. These electronic ammeters afford the wide sweep which provides a much more accurate reading display.When I first bought 3 KUS gauges 2 annums ago, I would have preferred to buy the European-made, VDO gauges, but none that I saw on the Internet were sold including the sending units and I didn't see any separately-sold available. Then I saw the KUS models complete with sending units, and for a lower price than the VDOs.
