Zipbuds Slide Sport Earbuds with Mic, White Sea

I don't know how good earbuds can be if you spend enough but these exceed and meet my needs. I have apple devices and have always just used the apple earbuds feeling those to be great. Recently, the gym I go to has begun playing their raucous music and continual announcements overly loud. So, my need was to have some abient noise shielding earphones without looking like a helicopter pilot by wearing cumbersome full sized studio headphones. I find these a good solution with a key selling point being the anti-tangling wire which seems to be the plague of all other modern earbuds. These do not naturally tangle whch will probably save me a bunch of time and with the cord the way it is, there is a quality feel and expectation of long life. The plug is perhaps the only one I have that easily and without extra force fits in the cover on my ipod. The mic does not include up and down volume but a single button that pauses and unpauses the playback which is awesome making it easier to stop playback if you must talk to someone or whatever rather than pulling the ipod from a pocket and fidgiting around trying to stop it. Earbuds fit comfortably and do reduce ambient noise. They do seem light and comfortable to me. Sound quality is better than apple earbuds which is just great as now I feel like I got what I needed and a bit of an upgrade as well. Quite happy with my purchase. Might get a second pair later. The company contacted me after the purchase with a free bonus offer and a person e-mailed with me about if I need anything, they could be reached. Pretty amazing given the low level care we come to expect from buying even big ticket items now.

Update:Much more tangle free than tiny wire earbuds. My wife likes the soft touch of the wires a lot as well as the comfort of the angled ear canal inserts. She also likes the fidelity of the sound and thinks they are attractive. These are now my wife's earbuds.My daughter liked the comfort, wires and sound, but they weren't the brand that her friends are wearing - so much for peer pressure.These earbuds are a Christmas gift for my 13 year old daughter. I selected the color to match her ipod. However the actual earbuds are a much lighter pastel and are not the intense color represented in web site are or on the packaging. They are still attractive and they will be under the tree.At this time I can't take them out of the packaging to provide a more complete review of "cool factor", slide function, sound quality, and expected durability, but I'll update this review with the 13 year old's reaction on Christmas day.

To begin with, I really loved the Zipbuds! No tangles, easy to coil etc. The bummer is one side crapped out after about 5 weeks! There wasn't any extreme pulling or catching them on anything. Their pitch on the purchase says they are "GUARANTEED FOR LIFE!" I have tried to contact the company for a return or preferably an exchange for a new pair, but the system tells me that since it was over one month I could not return them. It refers me to the Amazon standard return policy! I left a message on the company's customer service line, but have not received a response. Very frustrated, I would love to give them 5 stars but if their customer service does not respond and they do not stand behind their "GUARANTEED FOR LIFE" advertising I can't say any thing else positive about them.

The colors were adorable. The build is durable. The product stands up to its claim as tangle-free, and these are some of the best headphones I've owned with regard to this functionality. The audio is pretty standard for a mid-range non-professional set of headphones, and for non-audiophiles, I think it would be just fine. Overall, a great set of headphones that I hope to last me a long time. The only thing I'd wish the product has are buttons for volume control, as there is only one button to receive/hang up calls, or pause music.

The earbuds reproduce decent sound and the cord does not tangle, therefore on these 2 accounts, they are fine. However, the cord is extremely sensitive to any touch and running with them causes a cacophony of noise in your ears. I tried to use them with my phone and very time I moved even slightly, the other person told me that they heard very loud noise.

These headphones are really beautiful and of great quality! They're super comfortable in the ears, especially for long-term use. The cord never tangles and the sound quality is really superb. My only critique is that there isn't a volume control on the mic, which makes it slightly inconvenient. Otherwise, this is a fantastic pair of headphones

Worked well for a couple weeks and then sound went very low. Had to get a replacement, which was handled well.Also the zipper isn't the greatest quality and tends to get stuck every once in a while

Maybe it's the color. I have ordered 2 sets of the teal and one set of the Green (lime). Both sets of teal were defective (one side did not work, right out of the box). Amazon customer service was fantastic and refunded the full current amount. I gave the lime set to my son and will have to follow up with him
