JovyTamaros Tamarind Flavor Mexican Candy (2 x 6 oz. Bags)

I loooove Mexican candy, however I was disappointed. The chewy cents is nonexistent. Candy is hard as a rock. Flavor is decent. However it didn’t satisfy the craving.

Your first few licks are all chili powder, but that’s normal for these types of candies. I wish the actual candy part was a bit more tangy/sour, because I get bored after the chili/tang is gone and throw the rest of it out.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this because I love the chili covered candies but specifically got this one because it had the soft center. Before ordering I did see a couple reviews saying that it’s just hard all the way through so I almost didn’t get it. But then I saw someone say that the watermelon was the only one with a soft chewy center so I got two bags (like I said I love these candies, usually anyways) but it was hard as all the way through and the sweet part literally tasted like perfume. I couldn’t finish it and spit it out smh. The bag clearly says it has a soft chewy center not to mention it also has a picture of the candy with the soft center coming out of it. I’m not mad it’s just candy but it’s nasty and misleading 🙄🤷‍♀️

BUYER BEWARE! I love this candy but not when it’s stuck to the wrapper. These are supposed to have a outside coating but it has turned into one big sticky glob. There are no returns and no way to contact seller. In the photos I have put an image of how the watermelon flavor looks and how these mango ones look. You can visibly see that the mango ones that I bought in this purchase are pretty gross.

These are really tasty, remind me of home and being a kid BUT their size makes them a HUGE choking hazard while sucking on them. I almost choked on one (thankfully I wasn't alone when it happened), so I don't think I will be purchasing another bag of these for that reason. It was tremendously scary.I suggest buying the lollipop version of these though. They are bigger candies and have a stick attached so you can enjoy them without fear of, you know, dying :D

This is just hard candy. There is nothing juicy or gummy in the center like the picture & description alludes. The watermelon version is the same. Very disappointed. What a way to waste my hard earned money.

It has that lime chili flavor on the outside and after a few minutes in your mouth you get the sweetness of the candy. Very good !
