I should begin by saying this is a a solid, strong and very lightweight implement as expected from the Fiskars Light series. It was bought as a present for my father who is in his 70's and he is very pleased with it. It was also very well wrapped and showed no signs of damage in transit. So why 2 stars ? Well, that's because it was marked and chipped in half a dozen places over its length on arrival. The packaging was substantial and undamaged so it seems reasonable to assume that this was also the case when it was wrapped. It is a garden implement so will soon gather marks and scratches but it was also a present which I did not have time to return and it was not inexpensive so I am a little disappointed in Amazon. With a hardened steel head, the shaft and other rake heads are going to be damaged if not handled and transported properly as a batch which i assume was the case for this item so I cannot really recommend this item from this seller.

it is a very well made light piece of kit but when i had finished it was lighter stillit was perfect was i cut 3 inch of each end but the job i wanted it for was perfect

I'm perfectly happy with the rake. It's light and strong. I use it for removing moss from the lawn. It's also good for preparing flower and vegetable beds.
