Using this as a shim to help level 3d Printer bed.
Using this as a shim on my 3d Printers to do some more fine leveling of the headed bed for a Voron 2.4. It works well and survives the temperature well. I have reduced the variation of the bed by 50% and I just started. The less the bed varies the easier the leveling and printing goes. Doesn't seem to affect the heating at all.

Trucker Hats
We bought this to use with our trucker hats. It's very good quality and easy to use.

Great Value, very thin compared to others but is reflected in price.
While this is much thinner and would not count on it to prevent any punctures, even by blunt objects- it's so cheap that it makes sense. The thickness might even be listed on the listing and I just overlooked it. Good quality, but if you need something thick (like over the tops of batterys) you may want something thicker.

Best Kapton tape used to date
Ok, so first let me say that the individuals saying this tape is no good are either not using it correctly or just have no idea how to properly use it. This is some nice thick tape with excellent adhesive strength.I just received it yesterday and have already printed on it multiple times and currently have one in progress and another starting. I use this on my PEI build plates when I print either tpu or petg as I don't want to risk damage to my build plates, a little glue stick as a release agent (yes you read that correctly, in 3d printing glue stick not only promotes some adhesion it also acts as a release agent for stickier filament types)I was using a "name branded 3d printing specific" kapton purchased from Amazon however it was not very effective so I decided this time to get a different brand and I am very happy that I did as this stuff beats anything I've used to date.Application is tedious as is it usually is when using kapton tape, applied without water or alcohol it adheres perfectly, make sure to use a putty knife to work the bubbles out.Using kapton tape gives a nice shiny smooth surface and if applied correctly will allow the texture of your build plate to come through which adds to the finished products' overall quality. Thanks for a great tape guys, I will be returning when I need more

Used to protect vinyl siding on garage for new driveway
Used the heat tape to protect my vinyl siding , on my garage, where it meets driveway. Had a new driveway installed and did not want the hot blacktop to melt the siding. Years ago I had a resurface done and the hot blacktop melted the bottom of the vinyl columns on the garage. This time I put the tape on the vinyl siding where it meets new blacktop and the hot blacktop did not melt the siding. Worked out well. Tape came off the siding well.
