Good set, good size. Some downside is the center edge of holes. They are not soft edges. There are nuts and bolts that does not fully go in. I tried doing the truck sample and there is problem with the short woods measurements. It doesn't aligned. It's cheaper than the famous brand. So I'm OK with it.

Great value construction set. Really well made, nice smooth solid pieces of wood. Box also comes with a leaflet to give you plenty of ideas as to what to make. However what I like most is that the wooden box it comes in has sections where you can sort the different bits out and a clear plastic lid that slides in on top so that you don't lose any of the bits. Sadly this lid always seems missing from most other sets. Would definitely recommend this set. My kids aged 3 and 5 both love it.

This is a really nice, wooden construction set: all of the bits are well made and finished, the screw threads, bolts and nuts, work well and it is great for developing a child's creative abilities. Ther are no instructions as to what to make, iving free rein to doing and experimenting with what is possible, lending itself to some fairly abstract possibilities. First class in my opinion as you don't just make one thing and it's done, but can continue to try out new ideas.

What a fantastic high quality toy. Perfect for helping a child's creativity, manual dexterity and understanding of geometry. I cannot recommend highly enough for ages 2 plus.Excellent as a gift, because it looks of such good quality when you open the packaging. 5 star!!!!
