Straight out of the package these seem like a lot of fabric. But I followed the size chart and they do fit. Just know the waistband is snug, comfortable and not tight, but snug. I’m a size 7 with 42 in hips and I have a pooch/some gut. So if you have the same problem these might cut in the waist. They fit like the top of butter soft leggings you get here on amazon. I don’t know about sizing up because then you might have too much fabric in the seat.I got these for exercising and sleep. I usually wear thongs and bikinis. As I’ve been doing leg work in my exercise routine it’s changed how my underwear have fit. They’ve been cutting into my thighs right in the groin. So I thought these might give me more movement and comfort without the panty lines of a brief. I have wide hips and a big butt so briefs cut into me and leave bad panty lines.These aren’t flattering at all to my shape. They look like I’m wearing a skinny girls underwear. The bottoms fit exactly like Victoria Secret cotton string bikinis. Which is comfortable but I’m slightly overweight. So these come over my pooch and show your hips bones and fat in a weird way. In the back they give your butt a heart shaped look. They come up very high in the back and I thought for sure they’d show at the top of my pants. I tried on my exercise pants, which are high waisted and they don’t show standing. They just barely peek out in the middle when sitting.But they don’t have obvious panty lines and are as comfortable under exercise pants which really surprised me.So overall I would buy these again but don’t expect to have these be any cute underwear I love the look of. They’re just extremely functional.The waistband, seams and hems are all good quality. The cotton is thicker than other brand names but soft. I definitely will try Jockey again. I with there were more color options here on Amazon.They’re a bit pricey but honestly if they last I’m willing to pay for them. I’ve had VS that don’t hold up to washing well.

Jockey brand underwear is good quality, and I'm not saying these are not. They are well-made, and very soft.High-cut legs on my underwear is a style I have worn frequently throughout my life, even when my weight increases beyond my own personal comfort level. I say this because it is the way these panties are cut for the high-leg style that is the problem.These panties are cut so high that the leg opening is really too large, and the panties creep. And the leg elastic is too soft and weak. They travel up my backside to the point where they are wedged where I don't want them. There is enough fabric to cover my backside, to be sure, but the leg elastic is so soft and stretchy that the fabric doesn't stay where one would want it. The fabric is VERY soft, and I wish very much that these panties were not such a literal pain in the butt!I will buy Jockey underwear in the future, but never this high-cut style. I have other Jockey underwear and panties and like them very much, but...I really like my panties to keep my backside covered.

These fit pretty well. They don't last super long because the seams aren't particularly well positioned and small holes form. And the silky tag on the inside right seam eventually pulls loose, leaving a hole in the seam there. But then how long do you really expect your underwear to last? These will last about a year, usually, then I buy some more. The classic French cut is good because it fits when your thighs are a bit big but your rear end isn't quite that big. If you carry your weight lower on your body, these are the undies for you.
