I find it to be very good to use and my husband uses it at times as well to control his caucasian hair and it works for him as well

This edge control has great hold. My 4c hair is hard to control but I find this last for most of the working day. Another surprising effect is I have also noticed growth of my edges. I know Castor oil is good for growth but I was not expecting much of an impact from an edge control gel.

I love Sunny Isles Products because they are excellent and does as it says. I have always had thin edges on both sides and I needed something to help them grow in. I already use the Sunny Isles Black Castor Oil for hair growth so this purchase was a no brainer. When you use this edge control be sure to use very little and not to "Cake" it on otherwise it will turn white. You just need a little to tame your edges, It has no strong smell and it is pretty light. I have pretty curly hair so I use this to keep the hair manageable and in place while I am out. I also like to because when the weather is foggy, I do not have to worry about my hair frizzing up. I have noticed that my edges are beginning to grow, but it has always been a slow process for me. The rest of my hair has gotten very long because of the Black Castor Oil. I will continue to purchase this edge control because it is a huge help. I wear hair extensions as a protective style and I have to have a Good Edge control to keep everything down.
