Booster is a huge plus
Every other option started at 8lbs - the booster pillow lets you use this for basically any size newborn that’s out of the hospital. Our baby was term but small, using some premi sized swaddles and clothes and this worked great for the first few weeks. The ergo is easier and a little more stable but honestly this is more comfortable!

So comfortable
The boppy carrier is so comfortable for the baby and I. My daughter was born 5 weeks early and was only 5 pounds at birth. She's almost 3 months old and is only now almost 10 pounds so she's too small to fit comfortably in a lot of other carriers. The boppy works great for her which is awesome for me because she loves to be held. I feel like she's secure in the carrier and it's comfy enough to wear for extended periods. It's a little confusing to first put on, but the directions are really detailed and there are tags on the carrier that ensure you've put it on correctly. It's only good for babies up to 20 pounds because they have to be facing you, but it's worth it for the ability to carry your baby when they're under 10 pounds. It definitely feels like it was designed to accommodate smaller babies unlike other carriers that are meant for more average sized babies.

Box looked used
The pillow for smaller babies was not included. My baby is 5 pounds and I need that. The box looked like it came used. Product description did not say that.

Comfy and long strands
I got this to have an easier time wrapping my little but wanted the support/structure of something more complete. I like it. I appreciate the arm holes but don't love the stretch. I feel like it ends up stretching a bit too much after wearing, it's silky, so feel like I'm having to tighten it so much! There is a pad for little, littles and it's so easy to misplace. I have added Velcro to mine to keep them together while not in use.

Excellent for plus size moms!!
I tried 3 other carriers before this, and hated all of them. This boppy comfy hug is absolutely amazing!! I’m a size 24 and it’s hard to find carriers that don’t dig into my skin. I tried the infantino, the moby wrap, and the momtory before this. It’s worth the price. It’s more comfortable than the infantino, and more secure than the moby wrap. I love it so much I bought a second one to put in the car, and as a bonus it’s super cute. My newborn loves it as well! He can move just enough to get comfortable, but still get skin contact against my chest. If you’re debating, buy it!

Perfect for small, colicky babies!
My daughter was born right at 6 lbs. I waited until she was 8 lbs to start using wraps, but they were still far too big for her long but tiny frame. I assume this is because most of her weight comes from her height rather than actual fat on her little body.Anyway, at one month she started to fight her daytime naps which made it really hard for this already sleep-deprived momma to get anything done. She’d become overtired and then fuss for hours. The only way I could get her to sleep was to hold her on my chest. Come to find out it was because she was so colicky and gassy. This carrier has solved both of those problems for me. I’m able to put her in this and still have my hands free so I can do other things. I can also feed her in it and keep her upright afterwards which has helped with gas. She falls asleep within minutes of being in it. It’s so easy to put on and take off that I don’t have to worry about accidentally waking her. It’s only been a few days, but this thing has been a lifesaver. We use it daily!

I wanted to love this
My long quest for the perfect wrap continues. I am a mom of seven and have been looking for a perfect wrap for the last seven children. I have tried so many wraps. My favorites have been the Moby and the Ergo. I was so excited to get a Moby wrap, and I loved it. The problem was that the Moby wrap is so long and thick, that I feel like I’m going to have a heat stroke in it. So I splurged and bought a Ergo, which I love. However the Ergo wrap does not fit small babies…my last two babies have had fetal growth restriction. They were both tiny babies. With seven kids I need my hands free and can’t wait until they meet the weight requirements of the Ergo. So I started looking for alternatives and found the Boppy hybrid wrap. It is so adorable, but it doesn’t offer the support of my Moby wrap, or my Ergo does. No matter how tight I tied it, it kept slipping off. I think that is a result of the stretchy material. It’s also incredibly odd to get used to, because the front is just essentially for looks. There isn’t clear cut directions on how to put it on. Also the tag on mine was printed on the wrong side, which made putting it on more confusing. For me the main thing is how my son fits, and it just doesn’t work. I will continue with just using two different wraps until I can find that one unicorn. Hope this review helps someone.

Comfortable and easy to use
I own two other carriers but my premie babe was still months away from the lower weight limit for either. This carrier worked perfect! The fabric is super soft and stretchy and it is easy to put on. I have used this every single day since buying it and my baby and I both love it. I would highly recommend this carrier over a typical wrap carrier as it provides a little more security and structure for mom and baby.
