I have very dry, sensitive skin. I break out really easily and it's very painful, as well as having eczema. So as you might imagine, I go to to great pains (often literally) to find products that work for me and will cling to the ones I find. I have been on a veritable Lord of the Rings level skincare journey the past few years, truly a perilous slog through crappy products to find the One Bath Product to rule them all. I've gone through roughly 20 different styles of loofah or scrubbers, including bristled brushes, sponges, and mitts. This one is hands down the best. Body wash doesn't slide off it (although some of the thicker ones kinda sink into it so be on the lookout for that), it works up a nice lather, the exfoliation is gentle enough for daily use but still leaves me feeling noticeably smoother and cleaner, dries quickly, comes in a fairly large size with a strap that doesnt slide off my hand or the hook I have for it, doesn't hold onto smells, and they're very reasonably priced. This gets a 5 for me because I truly believe that this is as close to perfect as it gets in bath scrubber technology, however I do want to issue a couple of warnings. Make sure you change these out fairly regularly. I try to do it every couple months. I haven't done it but I believe these might last a bit longer if you run them through the wash in a garment bag on gentle, but I haven't tested it yet so proceed with caution. You want to change them out because they become less effective exfoliators and I notice I break out more so I'm assuming that's just icky build up. Make sure you let these soak before using. I've had some that fully expand in 5 minutes and some that never quite do, the difference being whether they had soaked before using. I believe that was in the instructions as well, but tbh not many people are going to read the instructions on something they think they have a pretty good handle on lol. Lastly, they hold on to body wash really well. I've never had any slide off. That said, if it's a very thick wash or has particulate like grains of sugar or salt, it holds on to it so well you might have trouble getting it out. So make sure to rinse very thoroughly, especially if you don't like the smell. The loofah itself never gets smelly but it holds on to that wash and if you leave any in there, that smell will last until it's completely rinsed out. I have not tried this with bar soap so YMMV. Overall, excellent product, probably never gonna use anything else ever again.

I was looking for something like that from back home and I CANNOT recommend ANYTHING more. ITS A VERY NICE LOOFAH. 100% Egyptian. I bought for my grandma and she loves it, shes been looking it. It also helps with the dry skin and I maintained a soft skin after usage. Very nice one and worth the money.!!!!!!!

Good produce and love the quality in the rope but needs improvement to keep it secure but still worth it.

The Aroura 100% Egyptian Loofa is amazing! It’s as good as I hoped it would be! I boiled it for about 10 minutes before using it. I then used it last night in the shower and my whole body felt CLEAN, SOFT, EXFOLIATED and ENERGIZED! Not only does my skin feel great but my conscience feels good too! This is a product that is safe for the environment and lasts much longer than those traditional plastic loofahs.I love supporting a company that take the environment not only into consideration but makes it a priority. This is the loofah to buy! I am about to purchase a bunch for family members and friends. I look forward to seeing this company expand into other products!

Was getting these as a substitute for a plastic loofah poof and this is way too scratchy and rough. The handle also fell off one the first day they do not feel well made.

I dislike "soft" towels. Give me something that feels like something. These loofah scrubs must be exfoliating because even I can't use maximum pressure. - Wet them first, of course, then put some shower gel or soap on the soft backside and then squeeze lightly to distribute the soap. If you like to feel really clean then these are for you. Also, buy a multi-pack and dispose of it if they get anything less than clean smelling. And oh, you need a place they can dry between bathing as they will stay wet if left flat. And that's a very bad thing. I will buy these again.

Never used this type of “sponge like” material to wash. I like how well it removes dirt & dead skin, but if I my skin were sensitive no way. Very rough. Perhaps it will soften up over time. Great for removing calluses.

when the package arrives, the loofah's are flat and look terrible. they quickly fluff up after 1-2 uses. they feel great. I go through one every two months or so and wouldn't order anything else.
