I wasn't keen on this, the brush fell apart very quickly, my dog bit on it a few times and the bristles came out into her mouth. I have never had this using human toothbrushes even though she's bitten those many many times. I have not tried the paste yet.

I have a terrier that is a terrorist but he is pretty good with grooming so I was able to brush. It is fairly hilarious and his fur gets in the way but I manage to brush. I am sure he likes the taste - he eats nasty bodily function materials so he will eat anything....as for the brush, next time I will get a soft baby toothbrush and save a ton of $$. I don't find the brush to be strong at all and it looks like the bristles are starting to come out after 3 brushing events - not good for the price. I can buy the paste in my local dog store and hit a grocery store for a baby toothbrush.

Does not have any adverse effects on 15 1/2 year old bordee terrier. Chose this product over the enzime pet tooth paste and pleased I did after reading so many unhappy reviews on the other products. Freshens his breath, does it make the plaque simply fall away not yet but did not expect instant results.My boy doesn't mind the flavor and I am pleased that I am putting a product I would use in his mouth/body.I knew the brush would be too large for him, it's more of a medium to large dog brush. But it's the product I wanted not the brush. Highly recommend visiting the ver and using an antibiotic regime when brushing a dogs teeth who have plaque buildup; prevents the bacteria that is loosened from adversely affecting the dog. At 15 1/2 I am disinclined ti have my boy go under anesthesia to do a thorough teeth cleaning, he has routine cleaning uo until he was 14, now I feel safer doing the gentle brushing/cleaning myself- but with an antibiotic regime from the vet.His teeth/breath are fresher, gums look good, and he shows no ill effects from the product.

It has a nice cinnamon odor to it and doesn't smell like some of the other products. I believe it is one that is recommended by vets. The only issue I have it that it is dark blood red and I have a snow white maltese. It inevitably gets around his mouth and I have to work at cleaning that. He doesn't mind the flavor and I can easily brush and it does seem to help with his breath odor.

My dog is PICKY when it comes to flavors and brushing her teeth. I have tried everything from a baby human toothbrush to little finger wipes to the most basic dog toothbrush kit and nothing worked. So I decided to hop on Google and search for an all natural dog toothpaste. This brand was in the top 5 of the AKC and I thought why not give it a try. When my package arrived, I was stoked. Upon opening up and I saw the small toothbrush, I thought it was going to be a fight between my dog and I until I felt how soft it was. I let her sniff it out, and she for some reason got excited for it. The smell of the toothpaste is not that bad and she seemed to love it. Now she gets super excited when I pull her box out when its time to brush her teeth!
