Burning the wood with a torch gives our material a beautiful, distressed, stained-like finish that smells fantastic. At almost an inch thick, each piece of wood is chosen for its unique variations from sap to different grains, knots and even knot holes. Almost all of our items are fashioned together with brass trim head screws, adding to the quality and style. These crates are assembled with 1 1/4" staples and a high grade glue. They are meant for home decor and light duty lifting.
