Great value for the money, very solid and heavy just like the first shaver I ever had.Why 'they' ever thought it was a good idea to change it I don't know.Now the shavers all haver more and more blades and don't shave any better than this one does, and this one is so much easier to clean, and uses far cheaper blades that are really good.I've seen similar shavers in adds that cost $69, I bet this is just as good and will last for years and years.

DreamGenius Double Edge Safety Razor, Long Handle (I did find it not long but instead standard sized) Butterfly Open Razor for Men or Women that takes a single stainless double edged steel razor blade. The razor was fairly heavy, was nicely made, and was an attractive looking men's razor. The dark slate grey almost black color seemed more suited for males than women. The only thing that I found was the stainless blades that were included didn't seem up par and ended up discarding them and switched their blades for my husbands to ensure a super clean shave void of any blade nicks. All in all the this butterfly open single blade razor itself was well worth the money. And is very well made. The price couldn't be beat anywhere else for this type of quality.

It creates a bit of rust on the inside ring. Other than that, it was a decent product. Love the butterfly opening, it was the main reason for purchasing.

Just like other brands, even comes with razor blades that last a while. be safe! If your in a hurry there will be lots of blood. You must take it slow. No razor burn for the first time in my life! One downside is the screw is at the end where your hand is and unintentionally turns the handle where you have to tighten often. It also squeaks when tightening.

I keep my razor just like any other guy would. It’s in my medicine cabinet upside down between shavings. BUT I only clean shave about once a month. So I have only used this razor twice since I have purchased it and you can see the rust already forming. Yes I can take it apart and paint it so it doesn’t continue but shouldn’t have to. Just be warned beforehand. The longer handle fits perfectly and the movement is pretty smooth for now.Update: Dec 2023 spend your money elsewhere. The bottom cap has fallen off and fell down the drain. The rust is really hindering the opening/closing of the razor. It has only been a little over a year after purchasing. I live in the high desert so the humidity is normally lower than 30% and I only shave once a week to once a month. If I was a daily shaver on the east coast (US) this razor would have been trashed 2-3 months after purchase.

I bought this razor for my fiancé and he loves it, says it’s really nice and gives him a good clean shave. It comes with a good amount of extra blades and it is a good solid product for the price.

I love this razor. I was a little apprehensive about using a safety razor instead of a disposable one,first use and I'm sold on it. I've read reviews about safety razors and you let the razor do the job,no need for pressure. the long handle and weight of it made it easy to shave with.
