Perfect for home or office
I bought one of these units for work. I currently work in a region where it gets 70 below farenheit in winter. There is and snow and ice on the ground 8 months out of the year making walking outside difficult. Anyway, this unit fits well under a desk but it's a bit difficult to pedal unless you have a desk unit that raises. I put this to side and am able to pedal and type on an angle. It makes typing a bit bouncy but definitely doable. It's very sturdy and has a handle for easy movement to different location. I purchased another unit for home. I'm able to use it while watching a movie in my room or while sitting on the sofa. I purchased the in home one to use for upper body and am figuring out placement ideas that are comfortable. This unit is slightly more expensive (within $10) and well worth it in my opinion. Assembly is really easy and I was able to do it despite wearing a brace on one hand. Highly recommend!

Overall, one of the better mini pedal exercisers in this price range.
This is my third mini pedal bike and the first on of this design. It comes with a wrench and is very simple to assemble. It appears to use a belt tension as opposed to rubber compression pads. I'm into tens of thousands of medium tension pedal revolutions with no indication of tension loss or over heating as I experienced with rubber pad models. Tension does require several turns of the dial to adjust, but turning the dial is easy compared to other models. Foot straps are inconvenient but easily removed with pedals attached. The AAA battery in the LED display is easy to change when needed and the display can be reset to zero by depressing the function button for a second or so (not stated in the instructions). I use the unit on a carpet and it does not slip or wobble significantly until very high tension is applied which the unit is not designed for. The handle is great for transporting the unit from place to place. Mini pedal exercisers like this are not designed for high intensity use like a stationary bike. They are, however, great for a low impact, mild cardio/strength workout and rehabilitation exerciser while watching tv or conversing with others. A note to the manufacturer: consider making the small unit support arm a T-type fitting that positions it an inch farther back so one's heel doesn't bump the support as mine occasionally does. Other than that aspect, I'm very pleased with this unit and recommend it to others.

Nice, But
This does what it says it will do. It is very easy to assemble, and I ordered three of them to use where I work in order to get exercise in with people I work with daily. They all love it, but observing them using it, I see some shortfalls to it. One shortfall is if someone has a bigger foot, those little pedals are way to small for a bigger foot. Another shortfall is that if someone cannot sit exactly right, it will bounce on the floor, even using the included mat, especially if you have someone who wants to use some resistance and wants to act like they are racing in the Tour De France. I do like it can be placed on a table to work the arms as well, and I absolutely love the ease of carrying and putting it away, it is very light. I will say though, my three individuals all love it though, and that is what really matters. I would purchase one for myself if I wanted to get one of these though.

Does what it is designed to do
Fairly easy to assemble. Sturdy, but not too heavy. Performs perfectly for the purpose it was designed.

Works great!
It does slide around a bit. Needs a non slip rubber skid underneath on slippery rugs or floors.
