My son needed a fob replacement for his car. We got this for him, and it has worked great. It is a simple item. It locks and unlocks his car as advertised.

My locksmith was unable to program the key fobs. Unable to use remote fob features.

I bought the key fob, and had it programmed.Bought in November 2021, didn’t have it programmed until March 2022. It stopped working June 2022. I took it back to the locksmith that programmed it, and I was told that the unlock button no longer works. Durability and value is not adding up. I should have gone to the dealership. Trying to save money, now spending more money!

I took it to my local Hyundai dealer. They about an hour to program the unit, with their machine. But it would not work. They gave up and told me to get an OEM unit, which this must NOT be. Thankfully, they were in a good mood and although I was willing to pay them for trying, they said, "NO".

Easy to program, though time consuming. Believe the process takes 30 min. But, most of it is just waiting.

I bought these for my husbands car. They were exactly like the ones I was replacing and then took them to a replacement battery store and they took care of setting them both up working.To purchase these and then going to the battery store, the cost for buying all this, cost me less than buying just one that was ready to go.Very pleased with it all.
