REVLONFrost and Glow Honey Highlighting Kit

I used this to put highlights in my light brown hair. I didn't exactly follow the instructions. I put it on using my fingers. The way I did it was tedious and very time consuming. The results were fabulous!

J'avais des doutes avant de commander et me demandais si je n'allais pas finir avec des meches oranges, mais pas du tout, c'est génial, les gens pensent que j'ai fait ça chez un coiffeur, les meches sont superbes bref n'hésitez pas. Le plus compliqué reste de sortir les meches par les torus du bonnet, ça m'a pris 2h (j'ai les cheveux longs en dessous de la poitrine), j'ai laissé poser le produit 40mn au lieu de 20mn en verifiant de temps en temps la couleur des meches.

Knowing this product isn't widely available in England, I did my research to make sure it was worth shipping in from America. I first heard and saw about this product on YouTube and I recommend you do the same before you buy this... But it definitely was worth getting for what I wanted!I purchased this kit in Medium to Dark Brown Hair and it worked wonders! I did a full head of highlights - used the super efficient cap to pull my strands of hair though all the circled holes as recommended. It said to do this for a striking, dramatic effect - but its still subtle and very natural looking! I left it to develop for the full 60 minutes and Voila! The highlights are even throughout the hair and not brassy at all- it doesn't even shimmer ginger or yellow in the bright sun shine!The shampoo and conditioner were nice too but the only concern I had was when I was taking the cap off in the shower.. there were a one or two knotted bits of hair that had snapped off trying to get the cap off, but nothing too serious.All in all, I would highly recommend this product my hairs not damaged at all, still healthy and shiny and now blonde! I usually go to the salon to get my hair lightened as I know what disasters could occur trying it at home... but this is even better, easier and cheaper than going to a salon... the results were better!Will definitely purchase this again as soon as it comes in stock again!!Thank you so much Revlon and Cosmetic Solutions Inc! :)

I am not used to spending a lot of money on my hair but really wanted to get some decent looking highlights this summer so I was looking for a kid to do at home. I have dark brown curly/wavy hair which is a bit below my shoulders. I tried the Frost and Glow kid yesterday and I am loving the results.I did a strand test the night before, left it for 20 minutes and the strand looked too blond at first but in the morning looked more caramel. The hat is very well made but it's a hassle to pull hair through the holes and expect some damage to the hair from the pulling. It took me an hour to pull the hair by myself and I couldn't reach all the way at the back (or I just got tired of it). Because it was hard to pull hair through the hat, the strands that I pulled were quite thin but they made the result look much more natural. I made sure the powder dissolves completely to a homogenous paste, it take a couple of minutes of stirring to get there. I put it all on the hair, covered with the enclosed plastic cap and left for almost 25 minutes. The results are beautiful -- no brassiness, very nice caramel color. My hair is a bit dry though so I plan to do deep conditioning over next few weeks but I will repeat in 2-3 weeks to get more highlights.The dye could easily be enough for 2-3 times, so next time I will split it in two. It will be easier if you get help with the hair on the back. Also, for dark hair, don't be afraid to leave for 20+ minutes, it didn't turn blond, it looks quite natural.Overall - very happy, will repeat soon.

I am an old old lady of 61 and been highlighting my grey/brown hair for 35 years. This is the best highlighting kit I have ever used. It actually works. My highlights are a beautiful blonde and the grey and brown hair equally covered. I look 20 years younger, no, 25 years younger. It is a pricy kit and you may think it won't cost much more to get it done at the hairdressers. My own experience of having my hair coloured at the hairdresser is that they never do what you want - this kit does what I want - which is to have rich blonde blonde highlights. I have ordered another pack and will use this kit until they carry me out feet first.
