Great quality colored-pencils and value for money. This is one product that you don't need to pay outrageous amounts for better quality because all in all, they're pencils. All pencils give the same effect in terms of texture. However, I wanted oil-based ones so they wouldn't appear streaky or grainy on paper. The variety of colors is impressive and the soft core is smooth and very durable. These came pre-sharpened and with an eraser, sharpener and coloring sheets! Would make an excellent all-in-one gift for artists of any level.

I'll buy again when I need to store pencils. The pencils are decent too. Good for the kids.

I’ve purchased 2 sets (one was a gift) and I appreciate the wide variety of colors and tgat they “pages” are attached to the case by Velcro, so you can remove them if need be. The lead has a smooth/creamy feel when using it, which is nice but it does mean it’s a softer lead and needs sharpening often. I would highly recommend this pencil set to anyone.

I love these pencils. They color as nice maybe even better than the expensive ones but with a cheaper price. My sister told me about then. I bought her a second set for her birthday and bought me one. I am going to buy me another set I love them that much. Don't buy expensive pencils when you can buy these at a less of a price

These pencils are nice. For the price, you get a large variety & a nice case to keep them stored in. The "pages" of the case are velcro'd in, so you can take them all out without removing the pencils from their holders. The pencils color in smoothly (I'm just coloring in coloring books) and I find it easy to shade in areas of interest. They do the job without spending a fortune & a better one than the super cheap $10 pencils you get at craft stores. I only wish they had sharpened them to a nice pointy tip to begin with.

Really has been an awesome set of coloring pencils

I prefer more wax based then oil based as oil based you have twice the work (layering) plus oil based has a harder core then wax based. It all comes down to preference and what you're planning on using them for (professionally or personally). When you have osteoarthritis in your hands, the less the work, the softer the core, the more pigment you have, the better (thus the wax based preference for me). However, I was quite surprised that these were so pigmented! The core isn't that hard, but not a soft as wax based, but very doable. Much better than I anticipated however. Even better then some of the name brand ones out there. Pleasantly surprised.
