So far I am very pleased with this wire jig. I really like how sturdy and heavy it is, with rubber grips on the bottom to prevent it from slipping. The pegs are pretty loose, but you have to put plastic knobs on them from below to hold them in place. The plastic knobs do slide off a bit, if you are wrangling with a hard metal wire, and need to be adjusted.I think that they should have included more of the larger metal pegs, but I see that you can buy some separately (I might do this).If you have a gauge of 20 or below, it can sometimes be difficult to fit the wire between pegs, in more intricate pieces.

Love this jig! I took a chance seeing some of the reviews but the only issue I initially had were the pegs falling out or not being sturdy in their holes. But the jig came with a bunch of rubber stoppers for the underside of the pegs. Once I put those on, they were super sturdy! I managed to get 16 gauge wire around them with no issue (using my thumb to keep the wire in place). Also comes with a selection of different size pegs and with some patterns. Overall it was a great purchase!

I am new to wire bending and coiling, so I don't expect to be any good at it for a while, however I can comment on the workmanship and presentation of the Artistic Wire Deluxe Jig Kit. The base is stamped aluminum and not well finished on the bottom, and the the holes have not been reamed, so many of the pegs don't fit in all of the holes, and one of the pegs in my kit is not machined at all so it doesn't fit anywhere. The pegs are supposed to be aluminum, but unless someone has made magnetic aluminum the pegs are steel. And then there is a little bag of what look to be soft rubber sleeves, but these aren't mentioned anywhere in the directions. so I don't really know what they're for - maybe to keep the pegs in the proper holes. The directions are a bit less than 'complete', but if you're familiar with the process of bending wire, they probably aren't too bad. The pictures showing examples/patterns are simple copies done with poor lighting, so the shadows block a lot of the detail, and the blank templates are very underexposed and will be hard for me to use, so I'll use graph paper.All in all I'm a little disappointed with the quality even at the price, but I'm sure I'll learn to use it, and it will do OK until I'm good enough to look for a better one.

Many options, possibilities endless for creating wire wrapping. Helps when making multiple same. FUN!! Larger size but not too big for easy transport on the go. Like it!!💕👍

I will be able to create some great designs with this, and it should last for quite a while. However, my order did not include any rubber stoppers to put on the underside of the pegs to keep them in place as other reviews indicated; nor did the order state the stoppers were included. These would have been a huge help in keeping the pegs in the holes while wrapping the wire as I have found the pegs consistently pop out as I wrap. I am able to use 18 gauge fairly easily. Overall, good purchase but adding stoppers would make this a great purchase.

Well so i use bigger wire and thats not so easy to use this with for Intricate designs with large wire , maybe 20g to 32 or so but i was using 16 g and wires would bunch up not really lay flat , i think if the pegs was bigger it may work not sure what the problem was but it works great for smaller designs its worth it for that but not what i thought ya know what i mean , its a great product for the price and i wish there was a bigger version if the maker of this sees my review i would love a bigger version of this product!!!

This item is pretty sturdy and I was able to make the cat wire wrap already. This will be part of my arsenal of tools for jewelry wrapping.

The media could not be loaded.  I have made hundreds of earrings and pendants using this incredible tool. Especially useful to make earrings that are a consistent size and shape. You can also make findings and earring hooks using the jig. Comes with a sufficient number of pegs, but you can purchase additional pegs and plugs online. Comes with simple patterns plus I have many video tutorials available on YouTube using this Artistic Wire Deluxe Jig Kit. This is a high-quality product, simple to use and extremely handy. Highly recommend.
