This Smidge Dice Chopping Board is expensive but very well made. It is a sturdy and solid kitchen utensil, quite heavy but that speaks to how well made it is. I've used it extensively and while it's getting some scratches, as you would expect, this doesn't affect the quality of the chopping or how well it cleans.

This chopping board is easily the best I’ve had, and much better than the traditional wood ones. This chopping board by Smidge is incredibly easy to clean and maintain, and can even be dishwasher washed thanks to it renewable material. It is very compact and thin in size but still gets the job done exceptionally well. The design features a hook so that it can be hung up when not in use. You can also use both sides as you please, perhaps one side could be for meat preparation and the other for veg?I’m unsure why the front side has the black groove/indent running around the board, not too sure what the purpose is as removing any off-cuts of veg, etc will require you to dig them out, oppose to sweeping it off of the board. It is still a truly elegant,’modern and robust chopping board which would satisfy any cook, no matter their experience. When I received this chopping board I was to say the least dubious. This is made from recycled paper and is designed for use in a dishwasher? Well my friend, not only is this all true, but this might be the best chopping board I have ever owned! The surface of this board is absolutely excellent and whereas it won't blunt a knife, you can feel confident when using it that it is as tough as old boots. Run it under the tap or pop in the dishwasher and it comes out like new. It has a great hook so that you can hang it up when not in use.This is a really good product and you can congratulate yourself on your own green credentials in owning it. Absolutely fabulous!
