LOVE this tea!
A friend recommended this since I love black tea....and was not wrong! The smokey scent is combined with a smokey flavor that is different from anything I've had before!

Tepid tea
Once upon a time Twinings made lovely Lapsang Souchong teabags. Then they replaced them with a "distinctively smoky" alternative that tasted like sprayed-on smoky bacon crisp flavour. Then they started selling these teabags, which are a bit more like the original teabags but cost many times more. Fortunately other suppliers now sell better Lapsang Souchong teabags for less than Twinings' original product, so Twinings products are now irrelevant.

I loved it!
I would buy a dozen more but sadly it's out of stock. Nothing better in the price for tea aficionados! The taste still lingers in my mouth . . .

Potent Medicinal Scent & Taste
Little too strong smell and flavor. Seems I prefer a floral tea to this smokey choice.UPDATE: Have enjoyed several cups of this surprisingly tantalizing drink. Soothed a sore throat. Relaxing.

Isn’t classic lapsang
The price for this tea is not worth the taste. Do not spend your money on this as a lapsang drinker. Not smoky at all and tasteless.
