Nice quality, good sound and very portable
I learn to play guitar by using apps and watching videos since about 1 year. As I am travelling a lot by plane I was looking for an option to play guitar while on the road. I tried a gitalele, but I didn’t like the very small size. Then I found this traveler guitar, watched and read some reviews and then I decided to buy. At the same time I ordered a strap and a headphone amplifier: the strap helps to hold the guitar when playing, without an amplifier the guitar is not producing much of the sound. The guitar has a good quality and it’s really pleasant to hold it in your hands. It requires a little time to get used to it as it has not the full-size body (you need to find a comfortable position for your right hand). Without an amplifier one barely hear the sound of the strings, so you can practice basically everywhere. If you want to hear a proper sound you can attach any headphones or a speaker to the amplifier. I use wired Bose headphones or a little wired speaker, which fits into the pocket of the guitar’s bag (along with amplifier, lap rest and cable). If you want to have it all wireless, you would need to buy a wireless transmitter on top.I cannot judge on the sound quality of the guitar as I am not a professional: for me, when using proper headphones, it sounds actually better than my “traditional” Cort guitar. I have the feeling that it masks my mistakes. The transportation goes very easy: I pack the guitar into it’s bag and put it diagonally into my suitcase, then my clothes around it and on the top – ready to go. I transported it as check-in luggage on the plane for several flights already and all is fine.I just love this guitar!

Excellent for its Purpose
I do two or three air trips a year for business and I can finally bring a guitar I don’t have to worry about. It fits in my luggage, seems as tough as a board and is perfectly playable. The neck has a very good feel and is well finished, and with good fret work. I found the stock ultralight strings far too light, so I put a set of 12-53 on, tightened the truss rod a quarter turn and now it’s perfect. I figured I’d only play it while travelling but have found it useful for practicing at night after the rest of the family has gone to sleep. Unless it’s dead quiet you need the headphone amp as it makes little sound on its own, though that’s fine in the living room or a hotel room late at night. After owning it for two months I wish I’d bought one years ago.

Really good for taking on planes.
This is a great solution to flying with a guitar. It is small and light enough to be able to take as carry on and sounds surprisingly good, given its size. The tuning pegs are nicely protected by the body, and should be safe from damage whilst loading etc. and the travel bag offers a good degree of protection.I have used mine with and without an amp, and I find it better than my full-size guitar. My only observation would be that, due to its small dimensions, it does require a different holding technique which takes a while to get used to. This is not a problem, and does not affect playing, but the twist can make it difficult to hold efficiently until the correct technique has been learnt.
