It works...sort of. The outer ring is pretty flimsy and since the deck of my boat isn't perfectly flat, it warps when I screw it down. Of course this makes getting the plate in and out nearly impossible. By leaving some screws loose it becomes barely functional. I would gladly pay more for something sturdier with a gasket, but this will work until I shatter it muscling it in and out.

Works good but you have to keep the seal lubed or it doesn’t turn easily.

Good replacement !!
Nice and solid deck plate for my wife's kayak. Slightly larger than the one I'm replacing that lost its cover. Good quality and thick material. Better than the original one. Very pleased.

Beware. 1 week hasn't shipped
A week ago, an order was placed. The item still hasn't been shipped out. This item gets a bad review, because the processing company hasn't shipped item, Tempress 6" Desk Place. Perhaps I should get a 'Backordered' or some notification.
