Worked great on vintage fan that did not have a switch
I restored a vintage fan and was perplexed that the fan did not actually have a switch itself to turn on/off. This new polarized two wire cord (meaning the hot and neutral prongs of the plug are different sizes so that you have to plug it in the correct way and the cord only has two conductors which does not include a ground wire) worked great for my fan with the switch in the mid-cord placement and is very easy to find the switch and flip on/off. Solved two issues for me (a new cord and added a switch). I would buy this again.
