The Very Best of Diana Ross, Life & Love

Diana Ross is definitely the ultimate Motown sound plus. What a career, what a talent, what a woman.

This woman is such a queen! Every song on the album is a hit, and I love singing along to it. It's a great value for the price, considering that it's a double album with a ton of songs on each. The compilation is great, and I like that it's split up into the Life and Love categories. I've really been enjoying this.

I enjoy it but don't get the love and life as aspectts used to categorize her discography. I get it her discography is huge but could have been arranged in a better way than this compilation does. That being said it is good and one of the more official ones that features "Goin Back" which was recorded specifically for this Love & Life collection

The Very Best of Diana Ross Love and Life is an excellent over-view of Diana's career - with The Supremes, and as a solo artist. Disk One starts off with "Chain Reaction," then goes into some of The Supremes greatest hits. Actually, "Chain" sounds like an H-D-H production, though it is written by The Bee-Gees. After "Stop!" and "Reflections," among other Supreme greats, the disk focuses on Diana's best songs. "The Boss," "Force Behind the Power," and "Muscles" are some of the diverse selections on Disk One. Disk Two starts off with "You are Everthing" with Marvin Gaye, then features some early, and then later Diana hits like: "Touch Me," "I'm Still Waiting," and "Your Love," and "When You Tell Me That You Love Me." "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" with the Tempations, and "Someday We'll Be Together" are two Supreme tracks on Disk Two. All-in-all, this is a beautiful package - songs and booklet are great (nice photos of Diana). A nice addition to any Diana-fan's collection!

Wow this is the Diana Ross compilation Every fan should own! Here in the United States this wasn't released but it should have been. Starting off with the song "Chain Reaction" which was a huge hit In England back in 1987, I realized this was the best track listing that has been put together so far for the money. This collection covers all the bases, from her motown supremes era all the way through her big solo hits in the 80's and 90's. Diana Ross has always been much more appreciated in europe and the uk, I hope that people here in america realize again what an amazing voice and talent she really is! I definitely give this collection five stars, this is worth every penny and a must have. Much better and all encompasing than what has been released here commercially. My cd came brand new in mint condition.

Bought this for my sister who is battling breast cancer and absolutely loves Diana as do I. Blasting it in the car and singing along is a great therapy. These songs never go out of style. Love the fact that there are so many collaborations with different artists too. Great purchase.

This is Diana's best. Great ti relive her great songs. She was my sister's favorite singer since we were kids. My sister passed this Jan. At 67. I bought this for her.

This 2-CD collection really does cover all of Diana Ross's songs. It would be fun to hear them in order, but mixing up the sixties with other decades is interesting. The sound is still impeccable, even for the older cuts. Very happy to have her life's songs.
