As a untested review goes as a 20year private tech. It’s realistically priced and I have faith. The issue that I see as a visual inspection is the shaft spline points. Maybe not with the impeller that came with it. But a factory impeller is Much looser. And and as all Volvo aftermarket parts meet oem specs. Huh. Hope this give IDY’s understanding. Days later After 2 days of use I had a priming issue. The sea pump lost prime after removing the boat from the water and putting it back in. So if you have a shore station more than likely you will experience this Each time you restart the boat. In the pic this part of the housing should probably be ground out

The pumps are junk! the first one failed in just couple hours, putting rubber all in the water system. After lot of flushing I order another, my fault for thinking it was a just one faulty pump. the next one failed even faster, boat got hot this time and caused motor damage. Took the water pump a part and it looked like new. I then found the rubber was turning on the brass shaft and was not turning the impeller. After checking the first one I found the same thing had happen to it. The brass shaft it should have been attached to had spun in side the rubber impeller causing it to come apart from the inside. I can not find anyway to contact the company that makes this junk and lets face it Amazon will sell anything to make money.

You’ll have to re-use your 3 big bolts but other than that all new

This Volvo replacement part was 1/2 the price of the Volvo price! Worked great, my mechanic recommended this part. Great deal.It took a little time for them to ship it, but once shipped, I received it in 2 days.

I bought a pump and took it out of the box to find that one of the impeller housing bolt holes was stripped so I began a return on pump and ordered another one. When the other pump came in same problem one of the bolt holes was stripped out. They are over tightening the bolts causing the bolt holes to strip. Do not recommend this product due to not being able to use either of the ones I received.

Came complete. used one time so far for 3 hours and no problems.

Love the fact of a solid piece. Less chance for air leak.
