Toy with long lasting educational play value
Bought this for 3 year old grand daughter. A toy that adults need to play with alongside the child so good for language and interaction as well as coding concepts. It's like the old Logo Turtle we used with kids back in the day in school but using physical blocks not words so doesn't need reading, writing typing skills. As she gets older there should be potential to play with it with several children together. The booklet supplied gave good ideas for how to build stories around the robot on the play mat supplied. There are other playmats available (or draw your own on large sheet of cardboard) and more coding commands to buy as extras. I think we'll want to buy the extra blocks but not the playmats. Could get children writing their own stories too.

Fun but initial hard work
This was a present for Granddad (university professor used to computers) and he found the instructions hard to follow. So that's a minus. Once mustered though, the instructions proved useful and the product should provide hours of fun for Granddad as well as the 3 grandsons (aged 7, 3 and 2).

Let down by service (and longevity of the product)
I liked this product and more importantly so did my 3 year old. However after about 6 months it just stopped working. It had not been used much, was well cared for and kept in original packaging.I have tried contacting the company via their web form without any form of response (or even an acknowledgement). The company web page gives their address and says free to pop over. This is round the corner from me so I did just that. Only turns out that they are long since moved on. I am now left with a useless product and no way of getting it fixed.Unfortunately I have to say that this is one to avoid - it is too much money to leave to chance that my experience is a one off.

Excellent for those looking to expose children to coding
Excellent for those looking to expose children to coding. Especially like it as it doesn’t require any device (iPad etc), hence its a screen free activity. While it is costly, it would be good value for money if used appropriately throughout the ages.

Cute bot
Very cute, our four year old loves making it roll over the mat.

At £200! thats a very expensive toy!
An amazing, very interesting and engaging educational toy for the children. Introduces them to the basics of algorithms, coding, programming and sequencing.Basically the child who is the programmer writes/puts together an algorithm- which is a pattern of steps to get from point A to point B, in a language (which is called code) the little cubetto robot can understand.Even toddlers from at least 2 years old can understand the concept under proper supervision by the parent of course.I haven't bought it yet but my daughter has played with the toy at a friend's house. Why I gave 3 stars was because of the price point. At £200 more or less, it doesn't come cheap. While I agree it's a great and worthwhile investment in the future of your child, but other expenses like rent, bills, groceries make it really difficult to squeeze that much money on a toy. In my opinion.

Three Stars
Like the idea, but 200 GBP is a little too pricey for this toy.
